I guess it's out in the wild now. So yeah, I won the contest. They flew me and a guest out to Kansas City to watch the taping and do interviews and stuff. It was the 4th obstacle in the KC qualifiers so it's gonna air on July 3.
So two (at least) of us SMF people got our obstacle on the show!

Just curious. When the first person got to the obstacle, they mentioned it was from the design contest. Was there a YouTube clip or something where it said it was the grand prize winner? There were 6 designs chosen, so like one per city. The whole explanation is a bit confusing so I don't blame you.

Brett Sims actually created a very similar obstacle to yours a few days before Kansas City, without either of you having previous knowledge of the other's ideas, as a little odd coincidence.

Yeah I saw that! I personally think it's way different because of the mechanics but still an awesome obstacle. And Brett's other obstacle was in KC!

I think it's safe to say by now that you guys won't be seeing the Equilibrium Obfuscator on American Ninja Warrior this upcoming season. :-( Oh well, congratulations to the winners. Who won? Sneaky boy. Seems like 3 SMFers got theirs chosen. The Rolling Cliffhanger, Wingnuts and Crank thing.

Wait, who here submitted the rolling cliffhanger? I'm curious if that was actually one of the design obstacles because if you're saying the Nail Clipper was that obstacle its function was VERY different than the rolling cliffhanger (as far as I can tell)

In the best way possible, I must say that I am beyond jealous. It's so cool that so many SMF'ers had their submissions accepted!

Judging by this season, they really need new balance obstacles for next year.

Are any of you guys having trouble uploading your picture on the submission page? I keep clicking the link to choose an image and nothing happens.
