Ladies and gentlemen.. this is the first time in HISTORY that any non ANW (main) show has broken 0.3 AND almost hit 1 million viewers.. the previous record was on ANW (main show) on G4 where it was 400k and 0.2 about 7 years ago... Yep.. Changing channels did the trick! Now let's see how well it does in the next few weeks! Congrats TNW! Full list for the night. Well then that's great! I wasn't sure if this was considered a success or not but it appears that this was a great result for the first episode, hopefully they can keep the audience through the season. They have to see that as a huge boost (especially considering the catastrophe of the College edition). And yeah, the bigger thing would be to see the week to week numbers.

Besides the good numbers, something else to consider, they also get put right after show that USA forces to promote whatever is coming up afterwards, it's usually brief but they did in fact have Matt and Akbar sitting front row and did a cut to them while Tom Philips (Lead announcer on Smackdown after Mauro Ranallo left) gave a brief summing up of what's up next. This is nothing new to WWE in the least, but what is new is something NW having that on a channel that isn't lowest in the country (Because G4 did have Attack of the Show plug ANW all the time but Smackdown gets much more views than AotS did )

For TNW, the ratings were good. The problem is that that's less than half of what "Chrisley Knows Best" was getting in the same timeslot.
As long as TNW maintains a 0.3, or better, 18-49 rating, it should get renewed. Anything less than that, and it'll be in serious trouble.

Well it got renewed when it was at 0.1 and 200k so I doubt they will see this as a failure. Now if College comes back I'd really be surprised.. that was 0.0

USA network has much higher ratings standards. True though given the history of the show I doubt even if the ratings are lower than the others that this will be considered bad. USA has the same amount of audience than G4 and Esquire in their prime but their audience is placed in better markets. I'm just happy they actually utilized their marketing budget and cross promoted it. That wasn't done before at all and it showed.

I think the ratings might be quite good tonight because there's going to be a preview of the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie during the show at some point.

Last night's show ranked 23rd for the night 0.28 for 18-49 929,000 viewers Slight drop Provide links.... Tuesday's cable ratings. They are still 0.3 though so that's still VERY good. Considering they only lost 20k that's within the margin. Hell.. ANW in season loses a million here and there. Always remember.. when you are still in the straight up cable ratings and not the "demo" rating then you are still doing well. In the past to even FIND ANW you had to do the demo rating and even then it was in the bottom. To be up there with the rest of the big boys is a good thing. Hope they can continue. USA network is turning out to be a much better home for it.

Smackdown Live is proving to be a good lead in to TNW, I guess it's working putting Sports Entertainment before Sports Entertainment

One of the most impressive things I've seen on team ninja warrior was Jamie rahn accidentally kicking the bar from the bar hop into the next cradle without Even trying to.

At this point should the entire thread be flagged spoiler or should a new conversation be started with a spoiler label?

Late post for Episode Two. For some reason Amazon didn't post the episode until Thursday. Since DirecTV Now doesn't have DVR, I have to wait for Amazon to confirm my "results."
All of the teams that won their matches by rules also won their matches by points. There were no "sudden death heats." However, after Team TNT, Mega Crushers was the most consistent team. By my scoring method they were by far better than the other two teams in the episode. Scoring was as follows:
TNT 40 MC 38 Tarzan 26 Wing 25
By rule The Wings earned a spot in the relay showdown, by points, they were the team that performed worst. The Wings proved they were not worthy of being in the relay by failing to complete the back end of the course. To this point, after episode 3 of season 2, The Wings are the only team to fail in the back end. This compounds a failure in the first six obstacles. Multiple fails in the relay is also a first.
The winners versus losers for the second round is good as it gives the teams in the second match an incentive so they don't have to race again immediately. I think having the two teams with the most points after the two rounds move on to the relay is more equitable than the winners of the second round moving on. In this episode, that was definitely the case as Mega Crushers vs. TNT would have been a better relay showdown.
This episode had a few firsts. As previously mentioned it was the first in which the third member of the team did not complete their part (SL,GG.IL) of the course. It was also the first episode with a match (TNT vs. The Wings) that did not include an attempt of the warped wall.

Preliminary results for episode three are interesting. Will have to wait for the Amazon release to confirm, but by points G-Force has never lost a match, by rule G-Force is 1-3. By points Jessie Graff and team should have competed in the relay show down of both of their episodes.
Pre confirmation
G-Force 37 Think Tank 36 Superhero Squad 34 Average Jo Jos 32
By far the closest round, so far, of season 2.
I'll confirm after Amazon releases the episode.

Yep, the system doesn't make sense, we already knew that.
But they'll need to change more than that for (a potential) season 3.
Unfortunately, I don't believe they will. After all, in each episode they're telling us the fairy tale about how losing round 1 is a disadvantage.

No sense at all. This episode was almost completely dominated by two ninjas. Jamie Rahn and Matt Wilder

Looking to try and change the rules so no 1 ninja can run twice in a row, meaning anchor can't solo beat the other team which will help alleviate this retarded problem that happens a s*** TON this season.
