There are a couple of cool names for Stage 1 and 2 obstacles. So it's not all "Ring -Action-" etc.
This was a very interesting season, to say the absolute least

Looks like the 7th Stage 1 Obstacle should be called the NACHOS OF DEATH! The arrows on them point towards the water. Is that where the competitors are supposed to go?

SMH @ the final stage... I'd be fine with them using a Spider Climb to rope honestly, it's a lot more original than a rope climb...

That bridge obstacle doesn't look 'cool and tricky' it looks like they had extra crap lying around and went 'let's just use that.' They all aren't the same size, they aren't on the same level and because there's an even number of them the lack of pattern makes it look even more like a crappy wind chime than an obstacle. I see what appears to be Circuit Breaker (Indy ob9, spoiled on Today Show segment) right after the Psycho Chainsaw Also anyone else disappointed the Final Stage is the same, especially after it was beaten twice in competition, not to mention beaten in side competitions as well... But it's ~taller~ so much more imposing. But yeah, I really hope their insistence that 'we can create cool original obstacles, too' didn't discourage them from actually going with what works. Hell, if you just don't want to use the Spider Climb or the Heavenly Ladder you have that 40 foot Salmon Ladder still, if your tower seems to be 80 feet, then that's perfect. If they did add the spider climb, they should have made it spread apart like the 2000 - 2006 SASUKE Final Stage.

maybe they thought to just put in the old final stage as a placeholder and they hope that no one gets to stage 4 so they can come up with an obstacle with the rope climb in the next anw

Did anyone clear stage 2, 3, or 4? Welcome to the forum. While some people have their contacts of sorts and people can't help themselves and reveal things eventually, as people on the set are under a NDA (non-disclosure agreement) regarding disclosing results before they make it to air, we generally look down at direct asking.

I swear ATS couldn't make an iconic original obstacle to save a life, even with their gigantic budget. This entire course is more of the same from years' past and relies entirely on M9's brilliant ideas. They can make whatever they want, yet the course has been a modified Sasuke 27 for 4 years now, mixed together with asymmetrical and ugly obstacles. I don't think I'll ever experience that feeling of awe again given from seeing obstacles like the Jumping Spider, the Salmon Ladder, the Rolling Escargot, etc. for the first time. TBS today doesn't do a much better job, either. More understandably, of course, due to the financial situation, but not even close to what M9 used to bang out year after year. Can I also add that the constant red and blue is so ugly. I really don't want to come across as one of those guys who rags on ANW for no reason all the time, because I watch the show and I try to defend it, but this has bugged me since ANW 5. We get it. It's American Ninja Warrior. The course is one big seizure. Just throw some browns, blacks, grays, anything to offset the primary outburst of color, and pick BETWEEN RED OR BLUE. Just look at the Log Grip in that video posted and tell me it's not the best looking obstacle. Yeah, more of that. Yo Matt when are you competing?

A result... Jessie Graff made it past Stage 1. Per fb. ...I think I just heard A. Smith & Co.'s marketing team screaming with joy. Of course, I was drowning them out a bit, because I LOVE Jessie Graff, and she freaking deserves kudos.
