Anyone notice that Matt narrated the Stage 3 obstacles instead of Kristine?

Did he not do that last year as well?

Stages 1 & 3 were difficult but they seem fair (though the Walking and Flying Bar combination seems close to cheap). Stage 2 though was just cheap especially the Double Wedge.

Question: What was the run order for Stage 2? Was it still based on the results from Stage 1?

Question: What was the run order for Stage 2? Was it still based on the results from Stage 1? Photos on NBC.com are usually in actual run order, so it looks like that's the case.

(Don't read this if you haven't watched the finale yet)
So I finally got to watch the season finale, and I have to say while NBC's spoilers throughout the season were already very annoying, they were just beyond terrible in the finale.
- Why would you crown the POM run of the night midway through the episode on stage 2? Exactly, because nobody made it past stage 3. Once they did that, I could have basically stopped watching, I knew nobody would clear stage 3. It completely takes the tension out of the episode. - During Stilling's run, they showed Gil standing next to Drechsel. Why in everything in the world would Gil be standing next to Drew? Exactly, because they were the stage 2 finishers. They never show the true running order anyway, so at that point I knew that Gil actually ran before Stillings and finished stage 2. I just pressed fast forward during Gil's run because I knew he'd finish. That's ridiculous, that's not why I'm watching ANW.
And the worst thing is that I'm 100% sure it won't even change in ANW9... The people responsible for this are just morons.

I agree, but talking about obstacles I'd like to add one thing: why on earth is there still the Butterfly Wall? I think that's the only obstacle, city qualifiers and Vegas, that I can't remember having ever seen anyone fall on.
Also, the Double Wedge is a diabolic obstacle but I wish they'd have kept Roulette Row, I loved that one last year.

They were originally going to put an hourglass drop tramp but it didn't work out. I don't think we'll see it next year.

It's not in competition but Morimoto failed in USA Vs. The World

Only one person failed in competition in its debut tournament, and Yusuke did but that's not a canon attempt. So only one person in an official competition.

How did Lucas Gomez get to compete in Vegas? He was called an injury replacement, yet here ( sasukepedia.wikia.com/wiki/American_Ninja_Warrior_8) I don't see anyone from Atlanta missing. I count 18 competitors from Atlanta: the 15 that qualified + 2 wildcards + Lucas.

Sasukepedia is mostly abandoned. People try to update it but it's largely just an archive at this point because there's always people who troll with their contributions or just flat out put inaccuracies there.

Then why does the Wikia page say that he fell on the Jumping Spider? Do you see how it says "All cut, external information"? That means that it probably is either an unreliable source or another guy was mistaken for someone else.
