LOVED Drew's move on the Wave Runner. And I also loved how the buzzer was going off and he just nonchalantly flipped the walls and hit the buzzer.

For as unoriginal as 32's 2nd Stage was, I can forgive it because of why they couldn't. You can't innovate when you lose either the time, crew or cash. Or any combination of those. I don't see a reason to harp on it.
ANW has the opposite problem: they have the ability to throw everything at the wall and see if it sticks, but it's at the behest of an exciting, balanced stage. The Giant Ring Swing and Double Wedge are Stage 3 obstacles, not Stage 2. I can never complain about 135 seconds again knowing 210 seconds in a possibility. 3 minutes 30 seconds is a bore and chore to sit through, especially when everyone fails. I do like the Down Up Salmon Ladder, though. Wave Runner has a terrible rule. Hate the Giant Ring Swing and Double Wedge. Still ambivalent to Butterfly Wall. Wall Flip is a neat idea, but I wish there was a way to have the walls open a path instead of just walking over them. Because why not just ignore them and walk over them outside of the threat of DQ?

And surprise, no winner. Mountain wins as Matt puts it. Well thanks for THAT. Well now we spiral into the offseason once again.

They showed about 6 seconds of Sasuke 30 footage for Drew's video piece! And a close-up during Lumberjack Climb, but only 3 attachments. I was giddy seeing that on TV. And this was SASUKE 30! One of my favorite tourneys! (I STILL remember who ran after him. ^^) But seriously the fluff piece for Drew was perfect. I was waiting for this moment.

Keylock Hang -- I like the progress lights above the obstacle. Don't mind the obstacle. Don't understand the lache bars before it though. Was there no way to extend the platform?
Floating Boards -- Always looked weird without the thin ledge.
Ultimate Cliffhanger -- The small ledge at the bottom makes me laugh but I actually like the small assist. Hearing "this ledge is only one and a half" makes me think Yusuke is confusing as to why he suddenly erupted in laughter.
Hang Climb -- Nothing out of the ordinary
Walking Bar -- I like this here. Always wanted it in Stage 3.
Flying Bar -- Happy ANW didn't try to re-invent the wheel here.

Does anyone know if they were allowed chalk for stage 3? I feel like I never saw them chalk up but could be tv magic?

Also, the walking bar was interesting. They literally were testing it right before stage 3 and they realized (again right before stage 3), they needed an extra bar platform cause every tester (aka people who failed stage 2) was failing it. Curious why they didn't test it beforehand

I agree with the double wedge being on stage 3. But the ring swing I think has enough energy and movement to keep it as a stage 2 obstacle. Butterfly Wall needs to be either eliminated or moved to Stage 1 (maybe where the propeller bar is)

They were planning for it to be the physcho chainsaw in front of it. My guess is it would take too much effort to move it and it was easier just to throw some bars in. Attachment Deleted
