On a scale of silly to unintentionally rising political tensions, what are the chances of getting a camera drone to just inconspicuously fly around the Midoriyama set for the next couple weeks?

For what it's worth, we'll probably know most if not all of the course relatively soon after the taping, so that would be a lot of effort for not a lot of reward

I hope the course is not made out of CARDBOARD considering the low budget they have this year! LOL

Thanks to a bunch of idiots, you pretty much can't fly a drone anywhere in Japan except in your own backyard (which most homes in Japan don't have).

Weather for the next 10 days. On the extended (11th day) it seems like a 50% chance of rain on Saturday (the day of the first stage) but we'll see what turns out. Last year it was supposed to rain and we got scorching heat without a cloud in the sky. So we'll see. LOL

To it's credit though.. the tournament is now taped over 2 days so in the outside chance of a rain out, they still can tape on Sunday. That cushion will allow them to delay instead of "omg hurry up and tape because we only have this for today and that's it" like it was in Sasuke 8. Seeing that forecast now I don't see that happening.

But did anyone else think Sasuke 8 was one of the most epic tournaments for that very reason? I would love to see more runs in the rain. Obviously, it raises issues of safety, fairness among competitors, etc. But just sayin, that was some epic sh*t and made for good TV.

Yeah, definitely one of the best ever because it was unpredictable. The steps were slippery as hell, an outsider made the Final Stage, and Shingo was, well, Shingo! XD

LOL for viewers yes.. for competitors and audience participants omg no. LOL Especially since we aren't supposed to have umbrellas in the bleachers (safety issues.. poking eyes, etc.). Either way it doesn't look like it will happen again so no need to derail the thread with the merits of Sasuke 8. LOL ♥

I really hope that maybe, just maybe, there will be a full renewal instead of the 5 new obstacles or whatever. One can dream!

I mean theoretically they have the pieces, it theoretically could be possible to use the pieces in other ways like turning an Iron Paddler into Rolling Steel or something, unlikely but possible. Although I'm sure I'm going to regret saying this since people might be disappointed expecting something that isn't going to happen lol

Just bring back the old renewal staple: Arm Bike. Arm Bike + Iron Paddler. The most diabolical obstacle.
