Don't know where to post this but OKC calls have started. Ask and you shall receive. So, ANW is going to OKC this year. That's a bit of an odd choice, eh?

Based on pics from FB, looks like POM Wonderful is the sponsor again this year.

I swear this month is flying by.. what are the official dates again? The 13th is the Qualifying, 14th is City Finals, this is subject to change in case of any bad weather however but that's fairly rare to have a hard date change (Honestly only instance I can remember of that is St Louis for ANW6 since Baltimore just ran both rounds on the finals date and Miami Finals ANW6, Kansas City Finals ANW7 and Indianapolis Qualifier ANW8 just ran in the conditions)

Good news for a change: Per David Campbell, he will be running in Oklahoma City.
EDIT: Bad news, weather could get nasty in OKC. 33% chance of rain on Friday night but it goes up to 60% for the rest of the weekend.

So did they actually pick him as one of the 15 from the walk-on line? And also, if there's gonna be rain, they might not give him a chance to run.

Hopefully he does very well to show NBC he's still got it in him.

There's a tornado going on about 60 miles south of OKC right now.

As per the pictures and video in this article newsok.com/article/5496987 it would appear as the obstacles are as follows: -Pinball Steps -Some sort of ring swing where it looks like you have to get the rings off of hooks -A variation of the log runner from ANW7 Military -The tire swings from ANW7 Orlando -Some sort of flying bar variation -WW -SL -Bungee Road variation - -Invisible Ladder (presumed)

That log runner looks diabolical. Way tougher looking than the swinging steps from LA.

Not looking foward to testing that log runner with a sprained foot. Gonna suck falling on that haha I swear injuries pop up when you dead need them the least. Tweaked my knee recently while running and I'm trying to test in Philly. I'm sure you can relate to that torn feel of wanting to train but having to be a lazy sack in hope that your injury fully heals come game day. :/

Even the Warped Wall which probably doesn't need it?
