Of course refusing to acknowladge Alternate Routes' Skywalker as the original. I mean aren't they physically different? I'll give you that they are similar but I think the way the pegs interact with the top board is fundamentally different.

I'll give you that they are similar but I think the way the pegs interact with the top board is fundamentally different. Of course they don't want the exact same obstacle Alternate Routes has.

I agree NBC should give AR credit. Although they're not the exact same construction, they're obviously the same design. I would be VERY surprised if it was pure coincidence. And it's not like they are legally required to give credit. But it would not only be good advertising for the gym, it would also show a little class from NBC, which lets face it they could use more of. After all, these gyms spaced throughout the country are a big part of what keep the ANW machine going. They are effectively free advertising for NBC; would be nice if NBC could return the favor every once in a while.

I don't think AR should sue NBC. They didn't even patent their design so why bother?

Two things so far. 1, What's up with the rolling log? Was it the rain? 2. The hourglass drop doesn't look nearly as bad as it was last year. I'm surprised so many people are having trouble with it, it's basically just an unstable bridge after the trampoline, which most people aren't having trouble with.

Oh wow...this is awkward. Talking about how the Wolfpack is going to run while they didn't get Noah Kaufman to compete.... I thought it couldn't get worse, but then they even mentioned their "former wolfpack member" Isaac in Ian Dory's run. Gosh, who writes these scripts??

Did I just hear that right? They made the circles two f***ing sizes on the circuit board? Why would they do that? That just makes it unnecessarily complicated and more linear.

Whelp Arnold's run started at the wall? O.O The finals pacing is so ridiculous. The first hour is random people falling on the first half, and the rest is trying to fit everyone in even though they obviously can't.

Even the guys who do it fastest get their runs cut because they spend so much time on people that fall early.

Enjoyed tonight as usual!
The modified Fly Wheels weren't too nutorious but that jump from the second wheel to the platform did look quite scary. Disk Runner should've removed blocks, could've been funny if not so sfatey-focused. The new Hourglass Drop's trampoline placement before both bridges was far better and I liked the Cicuit Boards.
Lots of good runners and flare too! Jake and Lorin were the speed-demons and the wolfpack were great. Meagan did very well too!
Lorin had me with his random taking a seat!! To bad he fell.

What a weird episode. Cutting 2 of the 3 most impressive runs of the night in half is a major no-no. Would have rather seen the Arnold's full runs than pretty much any other run besides maybe Jake Murray, especially since these are 2 of the few guys who honestly have the strength to beat Stage 3. In fact, with Isaac gone, Brian is almost certaintly the strongest ninja out there now. Being able to lock his arms out throughout the entire course is mind-boggling. The Beast doing it last week was impressive, but having the Circuit-Board there takes it to a whole new level. Speaking of that, having them go on about how it was one of the toughest obstacles they'd ever made, and then having more than half the people attempting it clear it made it seem kind of laughable. Was also miffed that they said how people everywhere would start building it, when it had already been built before it even got put on the course. EDIT: And they just uploaded Lorin Ball's run instead of Adam Arnold's... Quote Akbar: "ARE YOU CRAZY? ARE YOU CRAZY?"

That P.J fall did surprise me. Came out of nowhere falling out of the set.

Is Lorin Ball a wildcard or not?

Yeah the pacing has been pretty bad lately. Also, they need to change out the "Still to Come" outro music. It's upbeat but it's way overplayed. Just have another similar track and alternate or something.
I know logistically they have to run even if it rains, but when PJ fell the mat was absolutely drenched. I think if it was dry he could have held on with that one foot.

It would mean grabbing onto the mat with both hands while your left side is pulling you off the course.
