Ralph Avallone, who for years has competed in OCR races (badly) and attached himself to multiple sponsors and charities under false claims of military service, has reportedly been accepted for the Atlanta regional American Ninja Warrior competition. Many of you may know Ralph from his outlandish "Captain Corps" group which recently caused him legal trouble after he attempted to steal the Ninjakour trademark, his service on the UNAA's Board of Directors (UNAA being a blatant NNL ripoff run - shock, poorly - by OCR athletes with no Ninja Warrior experience), and his submission video in which he couldn't get up a ten-foot Warped Wall. Please take a moment to go sign this petition. It's already at over 500 signatures but every signature counts in getting this fraud out of our sport.

Especially if he can't get up a 10 foot warped wall or just dangles from the salmon ladder. He's going to look horrible and make a fool of himself isn't he? For what it's worth he's also banned from Ninja Lounge in Miami and also received a cease and desist from Ninjakour for unauthorized use of their trademark. Also I may be wrong but I think I heard something about him being kicked off UNAA staff and that should say something right there  lol the dude's submission video from last year has him just dangling on the salmon ladder and not doing anything. This isn't about how he sucks, plenty of people who suck make it on and no one gives a s***, they just fail ob1 and everyone moves on with their life, the issue is someone who lies about receiving prestigious awards he has never received, or claims to have won awards that don't exist, lying to get a spot on a TV show and getting a nationally televised outlet to spread their brand of lies and copyright infringements which I'm 99% sure he's going to try to exploit for profit |

At least according to Ralph he's scheduled to run #15 tonight. I will get verification from Atlanta as soon as possible. I am 100% confident he will not qualify for the city finals so I wouldn't get too worried, but this is still "boycott ANW" territory if he does in fact get to run. |

but this is still "boycott ANW" territory if he does in fact get to run. I wouldn't, Boycotting gives more spots open to people like Ralph and would hurt the image of all of us... I wouldn't worry too much, he'll fail the first obstacle and if by some miracle he clears the pinball steps things he's failing Big Dipper anyways, NBC is looking into the issue and chances are he won't get airtime anyways |
