Why even show it on TV if they're going to deem in unsafe? Probably as a warning if anything, in all honesty they FF'd it so it's not like they brought a lot of attention to it... Really though rule 1 of the course is protect yourself, that's the first and foremost thing they tell you, trying to do that move is a clear violation of that

What's this about jb being confirmed banned? For what, dudes great He was deemed a danger to himself for pulling this, NBC doesn't want the bad publicity of someone getting paralyzed or killing themselves because they did something stupid on their course... That kind of move belongs in a wrestling ring, not at the Rolling Log That's REALLY UNFAIR. If he promised to not do it again I'm sure NBC would let it slide.

I don't think alone was why or if he was black listed. I remember hearing something I'm Vegas where he took a picture and posted it on social media. They told him to take it down and he didn't. I think they then told him he was never allowed back, whether they keep up with their end of the bargain who knows. Guess will see.

Lmao, I thought that would propel him to legend status not get him blacklisted... it looks like he still communicates with production and casting though so are you sure he's blacklisted? Yeah, that seems odd. I thought it was pretty foolish but cool to see. I would think they wouldn't SHOW it if they had that big of a problem with it.

Didn't someone else do balance tank on the Rolling log? Yes, Bart Copeland However while it was a risky and stupid (and also an illegal move btw, as was jonathan's, both of them were immediately DQ'd but they were just rushing on the course so I don't know if they realized that before they both failed the paddle boards before doing a stupid move) as this move was, he still at least maintained a degree of control and did follow some degree of safety rules, he probably wasn't deemed a danger to himself. I don't think alone was why or if he was black listed. I remember hearing something I'm Vegas where he took a picture and posted it on social media. They told him to take it down and he didn't. I think they then told him he was never allowed back, whether they keep up with their end of the bargain who knows. Guess will see. That's probably a factor as well, doesn't follow rules and is a danger to himself lol

The SMF cycle: 1) Someone creates a thread discussing something that most people dislike. 2) It starts off with friendly opinions, shots being fired etc... 3) Some people, *cough* take it a step further and make (what appears to be at the time) sweeping statements/leaps, stating "facts" that no-one else is aware of etc... 4) People get confused as to what these facts are, because the only details available do not reference these so called events, and no-one knows what on earth these people are talking about. 5) Confused person tries to clear up confusion, by asking if these huge details are true/confirmed/have evidence to back them. 6) OP of "the facts" gets angry at people for asking about details that they refuse to share. Still no confirmation if anything they have posted is true or just speculation. 7) Facts get forever lost to the ether, and no-one knows what the hell is true on yet another topic.

You missed a few: 8) Sweeping statements by people who feel jilted that they don't know the facts and won't go and seek them out themselves calling the OP a liar. 9) Kill the messenger rather than actually doing the work themselves to find out the full truth when actually prompted. 10) Take things personally and set out in crusade to ignore all already established facts including those who sent out the original statements.

So let me get this straight. JSB gets banned for stuntmanning the Rolling Log, even though from what Iseman was saying in the commentary they were glorifying it. Now I do agree that what he did was not only stupid, but dangerous. Banning him though? Seriously, that's excessive.

JB's not banned look at his latest Facebook post, he says he'll be running in Atlanta He never said he got the call, he said he's second in the walk on line, the whole point I made earlier was he doesn't realize he's been banned and will be turned away closer to time when the staff actually starts dealing with the walk ons (I.E. day of, day before if they're lucky)

I'm going to regret saying this, but can we steer this back to Isaac? This thread is getting out of control.

I'm going to put an end to the JSB discussion right now, as not only am I good friends with him, but I'm in the WOL in Atlanta.
JSB was never banned for jumping the log last year. After he did it, there was some question as to whether or not to DQ him, but as he failed the next obstacle, it never mattered. All competitors were required to touch the log thereafter.
JSB was never blacklisted for posting a Vegas photo to social media. He WAS kicked out of every subsequent taping night, but watched from the fence and had a discussion with Anthony (#3 in charge after Kent Weed) after everything wrapped, and confirmed that he was welcome back, but just needed to have some chill.
Pending final confirmation emails from casting for the WOL, JSB is #2, and will run in that spot in Atlanta. There is no discussion taking place about him being not allowed to run. He's going to run.
Rider, I don't really have any problems with you, but do not go stating things as fact when all you have is supposition.

Yeah, and they showed his run briefly in the season 7 recap episode. If they wanted to blacklist him, they would wipe his run from existence.

Wow.... That is just crossing the line since I am assuming Geoff didn't get one of those. The thing about it is it would be so easy for them to either A) send Geoff a trophy too or B) take the words "the first" off of the trophy and just say "American Ninja Warrior Champion" or something else.
