these vids are from training this week with the Rolling Thunder (thick revolving handle), goal now is two reps, something that's never been done before. I can do up to six consecutive one arm pullups/chin-ups now but still only one rep on this. It requires a lot of grip strength and only five people have tried and succeeded so far (with vid proof). One of them is an arm wrestler (Mike Hann) and he did it thumbless which requires crazy amount of wrist strength.
(I started a new thread as the old one says it's been inactive more than 30 days and wasn't sure if it's ok to post there)

Here's the rest of the people who've done it: Mike Hann (USA): Arm wrestler and he is doing it thumbless here 6 years ago, he used to also compete in grip sport and has background in gymnastics, he competed in anw4 and he is the guy who got me into grip sport after watching his ninja warrior submission vid and talked to him. His wrist strength is phenomenal and so is his grip! He also did one arm pullup holding 35lb plate on the other hand! (vid's on youtube) Peter Mortensen (Denmark): rock climber, he was featured in Ironmind magazine and news for doing this. www.ironmind.com/news/The-Rolling-Thunder-Challenge/this guy can also do single rafter pullups on a thick rafter! he calls it "the real rafter pullup" and it's in his youtube channel Timo "van Damme" Lauttamus (Finland): rock climber and grip sport athlete, he is the heaviest to achieve this at 205lb. He currently has the 95kg class world record for one hand deadlift with regular bar (221.5kg). He can also do a chair split! Geoff Britten (USA): ninja warrior champion of both ANW and National Ninja League, no need to say more! who's gonna be next? I challenged a climber friend, Josh Levin, to try it. This guy has done one arm chin-up on the cowbell by threeballclimbing (I witnessed it and there's a vid somewhere). He accepted the challenge and soon we'll meet so he can try this!
