I really want to get into parkour. The NUMBER ONE thing that's stopping me from being successful is hesitation; fear of getting seriously injured. Any tips?

Learn how to roll first, then learn how to safety vault, and learn how to apply safety maneuvers to as many movements as you can, training parkour is not the long flows you see most of the time, but the repeated practice of individual portions that add up to large flows. Start small and learn how to fall safely you can not eliminate falling altogether but you can definitely train injury free as log as you train smart

I'd really strongly recommend looking for local traceurs to train with, especially if they're qualified. Parkour has a coaching certification program, and the people who are qualified will give you really good advice about training and safety, and they'll be happy to train with you. If there's nobody available then there are lots of good beginner tutorials online, but they're no substitute for a qualified coach.
