Bet there's going to be a lot of curiousity about the Ultimate Cliffers. And some people already know a bit about them so I am hoping they'll share.
I do know that Ryo Matachi who qualified last year is UNCLI #2 and has "Salmon Ladder in One Shot" as his personal slogan on his t-shirt. (As oppose to Yuji Urushihara who has "shoe")
Tomino Keita has a light blue UNCLI t-shirt which looks quite nice. Who wants one?

Hey, are you part of the Ultimate Cliffers? Do you know them?
Those shirts do look nice. How much would one of them cost?

Tomino Keita is No. 4 - He's the one with all the videos on youtube.
Urushihara is No. 3.

Those shirts do look nice. How much would one of them cost? I would LOVE to have one of those shirts! I'd be willing to fork up the cash for one if I could find a way to get it.

Same here, but that's just cause I want any shirt related to Sasuke. Doesn't mean I won't pony up the cash for one if I can get it!

Ube, was yuuji #1 in the trials? And what place was the guy in white who made it to the spider flip?
(Place in the trials)

There were no "places" from this past trial, as far as I can tell. It looked like they (Monster 9) were ready to accept all of the guys who made it past the final Trampoline High Jump.
Perhaps Arsenette has a picture from 21...Did their certificates have numbers on them? Anyway, 22's didn't.

I didn't see numbers on the certificates though I'm working on the blog about the STQ'ers as we speak (that's part 4 of God knows how many). So Matachi is 2, Yuuji is 3 and Tomino is 4.. what numbers are Yamamoto and Matsuda? Oh and for the shirts they look custom made and nothing special. I'm sure they got it cheap somewhere in town. Here is the back of Matachi's - image.blog.livedoor.jp/musclepark/imgs/8/6/86c92a8e.JPG

They have them in order on the shirt so Matsuda is #1 and Yamamoto is #5.

UNCLI #1 Tsuyoshi Matsuda in Sasuke 19. He fell on the Half Pipe Attack. EDIT: Keita Tomino is the only one that hasn't been on Sasuke.

Keita is the only one? But he's like... the greatest of them all.

Keita is the only one? But he's like... the greatest of them all. Hasn't he been trying since Sasuke 13 as well? Poor guy. It will be a great story WHEN he finally makes it on Sasuke.

The guy has been trying since SASUKE 13. He tried out in the SASUKE 13 trials but failed the Balance Bridge. I don't know how coordinated or fast he is, but he sure has a lot of upper-body strength.

He's built exactly like I am, just a much stronger version. I can certainly see why balance and speed might be a problem if his coordination is like mine, based on how he moves, it probably is. Its hard to tell for sure tho till you see him on the cousre.

It's not like Yuuji is that far ahead of Keita - They've both been trying for roughly the same amount of time but Yuuji only has two SASUKEs on him. Makoto Yahagi has also been trying for a number of years. Of the Cliffers, Yamamoto and Matachi are the youngest yet both have been on the main show already. Yamamoto was also on VIKING if I recall correctly.

Yes, Yamamoto was on Viking in the tournament where Nagano made Final Viking. I remember he was about 13 at that point but he looked exactly the same with those glasses I believe he failed the Cannonball Run if I remember correctly.

Keita passed that balance obstacle in the Trials in under 15 seconds (which Miyagi and some other didn't), so he must have at least some agility. He failed right at the end with the trampoline flip thing.

What I'm curious about is what is the purpose of this group? I assumed they were rock climbers at first by the logo on their shirts, but it seems all they do is train for Sasuke?
