To tell you the truth, Walk-on lines are the worst things ever invented since E.T. on the 2600. I wouldn't even survive an hour in one of those!

I could just see a skinny newcomer rolling up to a walk on line. The other passionates all eye him up and down...
'Welcome to the walk on line, how tough are ya?'

No. Walk ons are forbidden in Japan. Only Hollywood would come up with a stupid law like that. I think he was asking about the california law that requires it yea I was asking about this, and does this also mean that in California they cannot set any rules for how early the walk on line can form?

To my knowledge the rules are based on location because of how the rental goes (and liability issues, etc.) Each location has its own demands on trespassers congregating en masse without security.

I liked Venice, why can't they just do it there again Because Venice is in Italy, not America. Wait...XD But seriously I think it gets boring doing it at the same venue every year. Trying something new is best for NBC.

I expect it's the same with everything. Budget and location availability. I have no idea what their budget is this year and who are their sponsors (if any). That alone will change a lot and with more ninjas really taking over an area it gets harder and harder to have an area to agree to the chaos for the 2 weeks.

ANW Venice regionals have been part of the Venice Beach boardwalk culture for years. Many street vendors and performers even know many of the walk on guys who come back every year.
