I received good news from the show - they're moving ahead with the last pre-qualifying date in Binh Duong on April 6 (Wed). Then, the first round will start on April 9 (Sat). I'm feeling hopeful since the show posted a link to my casting video on their FB page: Khong Gioi Han (Sasuke Vietnam: Unlimited).

I hope things work out better than last time with all of you standing around... Seems they are also getting back to the foreigners who are flying out to Vietnam for qualifying. Yay! Good luck to you as well trying out!

well I'm living in VN and it would be great if many foreign competitors come here to participate in Sasuke Vietnam season 2. However, I absolutely don't think doing very well on Sasuke Vietnam or even winning it can win you a ticket to Sasuke in Japan. No Vietnamse participated in Sasuke 31. Also, the course in Vietnam looked much easier than the courses in other countries cause it was only the 1st season in VN. Ryo Matachi came here to compete in an international special and he easily cleared the first 3 stages. However, Stage 4 was as hard as the one in Japan (Spider Climb+Rope Climb) in 30 seconds and even he couldn't complete it on time. So if competitors like Wilczewski brothers or Mike Bernado come to VN, I would expect more than one person to climb the rope in Stage 4

It's a good thing I am bringing all the Foreigners to Vietnam! It's going to be one epic clash on the course! We all hope to just swoop ourselves in and all of us get to the Final Stage! Wouldn't that be sensational!!!! Lol. Just kidding. We will all enjoy ourselves and have fun. We will do our best!

I'm excited - it'll be great to meet all you people who make the trip over here for the show. By the way, if you're in the area you might as well check out Angkor Wat (Cambodia) and some Thai beaches. Never know if you'll be back in this part of the world again, and there's a lot more to see than just Binh Duong, Vietnam.

This file was just posted. Not sure exactly what it is, but I *believe* it may be a list/schedule of all competitors who are confirmed and when they run. There are 216 names listed. Additionally, there are 24 empty slots listed. I'd love for someone with better Vietnamese comprehension to look over it and let me know. drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx0NWiPRcfdMS3BSUUZMLTJzMzg/view

Oh.. the 24 empty slots. That's probably where they are putting the foreigners. I know Perry's list had 20.

I will be sending the Final List of Foreigners on the 20th/21st of March to let the Vietnam Production put in in their schedule so we all have guaranteed spots. Will keep you guys posted as soon as the list if complete and sent to Vietnam Production! So hyped!

Okay here is what the file says. The SECOND column is the section for that group of competitors. Because Sasuke VN has nearly a thousand competitors trying it, the production crew divides them into different sections. For each section, they would invite a celebrity to take part in to stir up the atmosphere. The THIRD column is the specific time when competitors of that section are allowed to try the course once before their real run. YES in VN, everyone is allowed to have a test at the course and that is the biggest difference between Sasuke VN and other versions across the world (and we have seen many competitors succeeded at their 1st try and failed in their official attempt and vice versa). The FOURTH column is the specific time when you have to be at the shooting location to check your numbers, inform the rules, etc. The FIFTH column is the time all competitors in your section would be shot. The last 4 columns are your number, your name, your hometown and your occupation respectively. Hope it helps

Last season I had to pause every nametag to manually type the data. This season I can just add to excel sheet =]

I'm happy that all of you guys can unite and come up with a really cool international team! Good luck getting the spots to that group! Still though, the experience should be amazing! I'm stoked! It was open recruitment to those willing to fly on their own money to Vietnam.

I guess the Japanese competitors we've come to appreciate were just busy. BTW I'm liking the Taiwanese team! Both Chih and Liao Long!

I think Tomo is coming? But he's a direct invite as a guest. I haven't confirmed that. Maybe someone can ask him on Facebook.

Perry mentioned that none of the Japanese All-Stars could get the time off from work.

Perry mentioned that none of the Japanese All-Stars could get the time off from work. Makes sense since they have to take off work for the Maguro Festival a week afterwards.
