I'd probably rate this the best one I've seen yet, mainly because stage 3 was finally completed and that we finally got to see the new final stage.
And also because of how unpredictable this competition was.

Definitely top 5, but there are a lot of challengers for the title of best ever.

This tournament will lack something once the shock value of the first viewing is removed, but it was still excellent.

This tournament will lack something once the shock value of the first viewing is removed, but it was still excellent. Couldn't agree more. It was great because of the shocking and unexpected results. But if you take some time to reflect on this competition and the other 21, you'll realize that it was not the best...but pretty damn good.

Agreed. I'd say it was probably the most shocking, but overall I can think of a couple I probably enjoy more.

After more thought, Sasuke 22 was just as good as 21 and 20.
We saw more from the course, which is cool. But we did from others as well. So its all good.

Probably because I just saw it and am still excited, but I'm saying it's my favorite so far. I'll probably change my mind later, but it was REALLY good. Easily top 5, maybe top 3.
I was just so happy for Yuuji. I love that guy.

This tournament will lack something once the shock value of the first viewing is removed This goes for a lot of things, especially in sports. Yet, I'm sure will find some replay value over the summer. I put down don't know, because while I can't find justification that it was the best, I'm hard pressed to find reasons it's not.

I said it's one of the best becuase kind of like how in 10, Yamada was the only All Star to continue on to stage 3; in 19, it was the first time that none of the All Stars made it past stage 1 and it ended on stage 2; and here we are with this tournament, once again, none of the All Stars made it past stage 1, but we've got someone new to advance all the way to Final.
Other than having the usual rag-tag bunch to see perform well to advance, this season's 1st stage truly brings a new sense of skill and old fashioned luck to advance further.

I found it more of a mix between 19 and 7. 19 because the All-Stars let us down once again (that seems to be their theme these days), but 7 because the people who made it to Stage 2 generally did pretty well, and of course we had a new finalist.

I put it as "It was great, but it wasn't the best." I agree with the shock value statement, but I also feel that this could be the beginning of a new group of top serious competitors. Therefore, I feel that this tournament could be a top tournament in the future years.

I voted that it is up there, but not the best tournament ever.
I think it was a mix of several tournaments, and it really seemed to be the dawn of something new in Sasuke.
To me, it was the exact opposite of Sasuke 21. 21 was "traditional", mostly predictable, and the people with the highest numbers went the farthest. This was completely different and completely unpredictable.

I see that it was great but not the best to most people, this one felt more psychologically depressing than the last one because of the 1st stage. It became more fun once the 2nd and 3rd stages came, just the 1st left a nasty bump on me after the show ended (Terek, Levi, David, Nagano, Yamada, and many more.) If I say it was great and wasn't the best, I'd put only 21 and 18 above it.
