...break the 3rd Stage?
I personally like the Cliffhanger obstacle, but felt they just took it too far with the CC
Since the beginning of Shin Sasuke, the 3rd stage has essentially been the Cliffhanger stage, with a new incarnation after each total victory, which dominates the competition and is undefeated for 1-2 tournaments. It was tolerable with the Shin Cliffhanger. The UCH felt like overkill. But now this? The CC is so hard it is literally impossible for people of certain body types and weights.
People cannot adjust to it, and I feel it has sucked all the fun out of the 3rd stage. It is no longer a gauntlet, but is essentially down to who can clear the CC. The Rumbling Dice returning did nothing. The Iron Paddler was a joke. The Sidewinder didn't retire anyone. Even the Vertical Limit is barely seen as it is after the CC. So I believe the CC should be scrapped and a different Cliffhanger introduced, to balance the third stage more and return it to it's former glory. I believe it peaked in 27 and has been on the decline since.
So rant over... What do you think? Do you hate the CC too? Post your replies below!

It was exciting to see the competitor jump from one ledge to the other. As far as modifying it for 32, I'd like to see the double CCH. Basically, it's the regular CCH, but instead of finishing after the first jump, you jump back to another ledge. I think it would be very hard, but that's how the Third Stage should be.

They need to seriously up the difficulty scale on all the obstacles in stage 3 but nerf the cch and Vertical Limit kai. Maybe just have the old vl as obstacle 4 next time. Also go back to 8 obs instead of 6 as this makes it a lot more about stamina and imo would make a better stage. An example would be bring back sasuke 25 course, replace UCH with vl, bungee ropes replaced by ascending globe grasp and add something like sidewinder in too just before vl.

I don't mind an enormous Cliffhanger nor a small one, but no ridiculous jumps please. Hell, have a 100m straight Cliffhanger for all I care, but anything that you can't pass without a replica is going too far imo.

They should make a cliffhanger more about finger strength and endurance rather than making the challenge a really hard jump.

I liked the Crazy Cliffhanger. More than the Vertical Limit (terrible obstacle).

If they want the CCH to be so difficult, they should just make it the FINAL obstacle in Stage 3 so that it's more 'the moment of truth' as the final jump on the Pipe Slider once was. Putting it in the middle of the stage is just strange. The final obstacle should be the toughest. Then I think we'd be fine with it.

IMO ^^^^^ this wouldnt help much. If it was kept identical to now but placed at the end of the course it would only lead to more fails. If it was modified so you jumped from the 2nd last ledge to a platform (instead of having to re-catch) i feel it could be a little anti-climatic. There was never the issue of people generating power for the jump. The hard part has always been catching the ledge again. For the sake of having a better competition tho it definitely needs to be changed!!!

You do realize that it would be next to impossible at that rate right? People are already fatigued enough when they reach it, do they really need more obstacles before it. I think it's just fine where it is.

They should still have room in the tank I would think

"they already fail it after 3 obstacles. lets add another 2 obstacles before it then see how people do" - makes NO sense

Real talk here, I'd rather do the Vertical Limit after the Cliffhanger instead of doing the Cliffhanger after the Vertical Limit...

IMO the CCH was good in concept and design, but I think future cliffhangers shouldn't have a jump like the CCH.

Why did the Rolling Escargot get taken out? Because it was too biased and favored specific body types. I feel the same with the CCH (ugh, but my backing was sorta taken out when Kanno beat it). Overall, I just didn't like how it was stupid hard and the ENTIRE stage 3 revolved around the CCH.. All the competitors in Sasuke 31 who made it to stage 3 atleast got to the CCH I believe, yet, when they failed it, it felt like there was NO accomplishment whatsoever. Getting to the 4th obstacle on Stage 3 of Sasuke should be a damn good accomplishment. Overall though, I hope they change it. (Asa does too)
Thoughts?

I think they should remove the jumps and take the Cliffhanger in a new direction. Maybe moving ledges, downwards drops etc... I certainly believe the Cliffhanger should be the final obstacle of stage 3

The Cliffhanger should be a test of strength/endurance again.

The Cliffhanger should be a test of strength/endurance again. not how much you weigh

I doubt the Crazy Cliffhanger will continue to the next generation. We have our new winner, time for a new one and dear heck please no jump! That was ridiculous!

I think if they got rid of the CCH, Asa will be disappointed. After all, if they take it away, he'll always remember it at the obstacle he could never conquer. I don't mind seeing it come back for another tournament but if anything, I'd only want to see it return for one more tournament. I feel like it will probably be modified to something completely different though.
Also, wouldn't it be simple to make a cliffhanger to vertical limit 2 in 1 obstacle? I think that would make the obstacle a lot more about fatigue and endurance compared to the luck of a jump that is biased on weight more than anything.
