What was the most shocking fall ever? I think it was in Sasuke 31 with Takeda failing the first obstacle.

Nothing will ever beat Shingo in 22.

Remember Akiyama in SASUKE 9! And Yamada in 6 and 10. Oh and Yuuji in 25! XD

Gonna pull for Nagano in 14. Everyone was hoping for him to get the final for a fourth time just for him to fail the Jumping Bars, one of the least failed Stage 3 obstacles ever.

Shingo in SASUKE 4 (sorry Emily XD), nobody expected him to slip up on the Balance Bridge in Stage 1.

I'll go for a not so obvious choice with Nagano in 13. After failing the final by 0.11 seconds in 12 you would think he could do better and finally do it, when in fact he did worse and was a half meter short.

Shingo in 22, at least every other shocking fail happened on an actual obstacle, not a path

Shiratori failing the Body Prop in 17.

Yeah I know Shingo in 22 was a shock but for me it was more... Why does this not surprise me... XD

Guys, you're missing the most obvious one. Nagano in 24, failing the spider walk portion of the Jumping Spider after everyone expected him to become champion for a 2nd time

Oh YIKES I forgot about that! O.O Oh and what of Shingo in 7? He wasn't showing signs of shoulders having issues until right then.

Let me add something to that, on top of the fact his shoulder dislocated during the day before Stage 2 of Sasuke 5, with the mobility and muscular control of the shoulder and arm he showed in Stages 2 and 3 would clearly indicate that he had a prior history of shoulder dislocations, if that was his first time he'd be pretty much incapacitated from it.

Oh yeah that's true but in the final stage, everyone expects a good run but for Shingo and his prior issues... it became a hidden thorn on his shoulder which ultimately got agitated at the worst possible moment

Oh yeah that's true but in the final stage, everyone expects a good run but for Shingo and his prior issues... it became a hidden thorn on his shoulder which ultimately got agitated at the worst possible moment I don't think anyone expected Shingo to do very well at all, seeing as he was the first to reach the new Final Stage to that point. A 12.5 meter Spider Climb was completely unheard of at that point. I wouldn't be surprised if no one expected him to even get to the rope in 30 seconds let alone the 15 before the walls split.
