This will be interesting with a Kanzenseiha 1st Stage Roller Hill (Keep) Log Grip (Modify, may be a little ambitious but a trampoline Jump to the log grip would be cool ) Music Box (Destroy) Jump Hang Kai (Destroy) Tackle (Destroy) Warped Wall (Keep) Tarzan Rope (Destroy, Swing Mast anyone???) Lumberjack Climb (Modify, put it on a slight backwards angle, make it harder. 2nd Stage Cross Slider (Destroy) Salmon Ladder + Kudari Salmon Ladder (Destroy) Spider Walk + Spider Drop (Destroy) Backstream (Destroy) Wall Lifting (Modify, lower them to the ground PLEASE) 3rd Stage Drum Hopper (Modify, have it go up) Iron Paddler (Destroy) Sidewinder (Keep) Crazy Cliffhanger (Destroy, new cliffhanger should include multiple CCH jumps) Vertical Limit (Modify, have it on an incline, gap in the middle still) Pipe Slider (Destroy, bring back Flying Bar, give it a chance to shine ) Final Stage Destroy of course

Roller Hill (Keep. It was a pretty cool first obstacle, and took out some big name obstacles) Log Grip (Modify. Possibly make it rotate as it's going down.) Music Box (Keep. It was a fairly tense obstacle due to that dismount being open to screw-ups.) Jump Hang Kai (Keep) Tackle (Destroy. It was a cool idea, but it was somewhat boring to watch.) Soritatsu Kabe (Keep. It's a classic, and at least partially due to the Tackle, took out some big name competitors.) Tarzan Rope (Destroy. They need something besides a rope swing to get to the last obstacle. It's getting a little stale) Lumberjack Climb (Keep. It's the best last obstacle they've had.)
Cross Slider (Keep. With two failures, it's shown that it's an obstacle to not be taken lightly.) Nobori Salmon Ladder (Keep. Gotta have a Salmon Ladder.) Kudari Salmon Ladder (Keep. Very cool idea, and with 100% fewer malfunctions than the SSL.) Spider Walk (Keep. Once again, this is a classic.) Spider Drop (Modify. Make the panels move just before the drop, to make it necessary to time your move.) Backstream (Keep. I think I'm getting used to the Backstream now, and they seem to have made the jets decently strong without being overpowering.) Wall Lifting (Destroy. Unlike the other classic obstacles, this is a little dull to watch, unless they are running low on time.)
Drum Hopper (Keep. It's like the Body Prop, but with only arms! What's not to like?) Iron Paddler (Modify. Make the track a little longer.) Sidewinder (Keep. It's had one tournament, and took a while for testers to figure out.) Crazy Cliffhanger (Modify. I'm not sure how, but we need a Cliffhanger.) Vertical Limit (Keep. Great obstacle, especially with that gap.) Pipe Slider (Destroy. Like the Pipe Slider, but I'd like to see something new at the end. Maybe bring back The Flying Bar as the last obstacle?)
Spider Climb (Destroy. Bring back a taller Heavenly Ladder, to keep the pattern up.) Tsuna Nobori (Keep. It's not the Final Stage without a rope climb.)

1) There was a Kanzenseiha for crying out loud. 2) I'm sure Inui wants to replace everything as well.

Stage 1 Rolling Hill (Keep, it was a good obstacle that would still take out many if it was kept there) Log Grip (Destroy, I'm sick of this obstacle) Music Box (Keep, I don't know I just liked it) Jump Hang Kai (Destroy) Tackle (Keep, makes the small competitors have to train for more upper body) Warped Wall (I have no idea what I want with this, after the Tackle it is good, but without it we only get like 3 or 4 fails on it per year) Tarzan Rope (Destroy I agree with putting the Swing Mast here) Lumberjack Climb (Modify, I don't know how but modify)
Stage 2 Cross Slider (I don't know) Salmon Ladder Nobori/Kudari (Keep we only had it in one tournament and it was fun to watch) Spider Walk/Drop (Destroy it is fun to watch but nobody has failed it in the four tournaments it has been in) Backstream (Keep, I know a lot of people hate this obstacle, but I'm not afraid to say it was my favorite Stage 2 obstacle in this whole generation, it just took a few tournaments to get it perfect in 30/31) Wall Lift (Keep)
Stage 3 Drum Hopper (Modify somehow) Iron Paddler (Destroy, I know it is just good for training but I think the Drum Hopper and Sidewinder R can do it just fine) Sidewinder R (Keep, I know it is capable of being failed and I want it to have its time) Crazy Cliffhanger (Modify, replace with new Cliffhanger preferably with a jump and a drop) Vertical Limit (Keep) Pipe Slider (Modify somehow)

It was a Kanzenseiha... most of the course should be destroyed. A few obstacles might stay like the wall and the Wall Lift and maybe even like the Music box and Sidewinder... aside from that most of it SHOULD be destroyed IMO.

Probably, but they've still got H&S to deal with so I'm foreseeing that there won't be as many ideas able to be used.

I wonder if obstacles like the ultimate cliffhanger and the double salmon ladder would have even existed if h&s was there when m9 was still in control........

I would guess that most obstacles would be scrapped for a renewal. My guess is that the following have the highest likelihood of sticking around:
- warped wall (iconic) - wall lift (iconic) - CCH (already pushing it with difficulty)
Although renewals tend to come with a new, harder cliffhanger, this existing CCH is wrecking people on a level not seen before. Unlike the UCH, this one is causing serious problems for very talented guys such as Hioki (2 in a row), Drew (2 in a row), Kanno (3 in a row), Takahashi (2 in a row) and Kazuma (4 in a row) tournament after tournament. If the high-level competitors still have a very low rate of completion when many of them are doing very specific training for it, that's a good sign that the designers have found the reasonable upper limit for obstacle difficulty. The CCH should stick around unchanged otherwise the whole tournament outcome will depend on one obstacle, effectively nullifying the difficulty of the rest of the course. I think the difficulty of the remaining obstacles should be increased to give the competitors a hard time.

Anyone who says get rid of the cch is crazy .I would keep the cch and make the other obstacles much harder . The best conpetitors find it hard enough to clear the cch as it is . My bet is that they keep it the same and maybe increase the number of stage 3 obstacles. I really dont want to see stage 3 only revolve around a super hard cliffhanger that only 2 people can beat

Everyone who is saying destroy the Tackle...it succeeded in its goal. Nagano's heart isn't really in it anymore so can't really even consider that, but Yuuji and Ryo got too complacent in their training and paid for it. Don't blame the obstacle for doing its job.

Roller Hill- don't mind. I like the obstacle but don't mind if it's replaced since it's a renewal. Log Grip- destroy Music Box- modify. Play music that is so *censored*ing loud that it distracts competitors Jump Hang Kai- either modify to make it a lot harder or destroy it Tackle- keep. It's a beauty. Soritatsu Kabe- keep Tarzan Rope- keep Lumberjack Climb- destroy. Good obstacle but we need a new one. Replace with the classic Rope Climb.
Cross Slider- destroy Nobori Salmon Ladder- destroy Kudari Salmon Ladder- destroy Spider Walk- keep Spider Drop- modify to make it a bit harder Backstream- don't mind. I love this obstacle, but I don't mind if it's replaced. Wall Lifting- modify, get rid of the gap (though they won't).
Drum Hopper- keep but move it to a different point in the stage Iron Paddler- destroy Sidewinder- modify. Maybe make the punching bag thingies looser so they can swing. Crazy Cliffhanger- destroy. New era, new Cliffhanger Vertical Limit- modify to make it just a little bit more difficult Pipe Slider- destroy
Spider Climb- destroy. Maybe replace it with a 12m Lumberjack Climb. Tsuna Nobori- keep
You know what, I'd love it if they brought back Viking's final stage, the one that Nagano did. Maybe even reduce the time limit to make it ridiculous.

Stage One: Every obstacle: KEEP This is probably the first stage one in a while where I had no problems with the course. This is surprising considering I didn't like the old Barrel Climb and Rapid Decent, but his new combined version works.
Stage Two: Every obstacle before the Wall Lift: KEEP Stage Two has always been my favorite stage, but lately I've felt like it hasn't been living to its full potential. That said, I loved this Stage Two. I felt like it was back in full force, largely due to the new Salmon Ladders. This would never happen, but if it was up to me, I would have the Spider Walk & Drop swap places with the Salmon Ladders. I've even gotten used to the Backstream, largely because it feels like they finally got the balance right. Wall Lift: MODIFY The safety pads should reach the ground. It'll still be safe, but it'll be harder to get underneath them.
Stage Three: Drum Hopper: MODIFY I think the drums should alternate in height. Iron Paddler: DESTROY People are passing it too easily. It's time to move on. Sidewinder: MODIFY Either make the shorter or further apart. Crazy Cliffhanger: MODIFY Every champion results in a modification to the cliffhanger. Split Vertical Limit: KEEP Few have attempted it and it can take out more. Pipe Slider: DESTROY I much as I love the Pipe Slider, it's time for a new final obstacle.
Final Stage: Replace with a new tower. Duh.
