No real big spoilers here, assuming people have seen the new version of the Salmon Ladder. But that being said, out of the 5 versions that we have seen of this obstacle, which one do you like the most and why?
My favorite one is still probably the first version from Sasuke 18-23, especially before they added the rungs to the bar after Okuyama's fail in Sasuke 20 because the stick slider was very interesting to witness when it came to trying to clear the obstacle.

The DSL, although I like the newest version too, the lines on the side look like something out of Metroid Prime

The original Salmon Ladder with a connection to the Unstable Bridge. While the DSL was cool, I feel the jump was more of a silly gimmick that didn't really make the obstacle any harder. The Swap Salmon Ladder was just a disaster, and the Nobori/Kudari Salmon Ladder also seems pretty gimmicky. I like the simplicity of the original: just jump the 6 rungs and you move on. Also the transition to the Unstable Bridge is pretty beautiful IMO. They go so well together.

I don't like the new version. I'm not partial to obstacles with arbitrary rules attached to them. Instead of just swinging to the platform, you have to go down the rungs. It's only slightly better than the swap salmon ladder.
Original and double salmon ladder are best.

I'd take a single Salmon Ladder and Unstable Bridge any day Shame the couple only lasted one tournament

First is my favorite because nothing ever gave that "shock" factor like the first one did. It was unique and awe inspiring. It also gave everyone pause when so many failed it in the beginning and sparked many a playground to have a new obstacle to train for this very specific obstacle.

I think once people realized how tough it was especially considering it was the last obstacle attempted in Sasuke 19, that's when people realized that this obstacle was no joke.
