The similar thread encouraged me to ask this question that I am thinking about my favourite competitor for a long time.
Is Nagano able to climb Midoriyama again?
You can vote for
1) over three percent chance 2) practically impossible but it could happen when everything is perfect 3) impossible, he can't handle some obstacle, he would be extremely tired at the final stage or anything
I think he will beat first stage. The second, well, it is a lot about Salmon Ladder, about 50 %, the third is killing. If he accidentally beat 3rd stage, he can't come even close to the top of tower. That's my opinion, what do you think?

Nagano is quick, extremely well coordinated and has excellent upper body strength. He has always been fine on the Salmon Ladder and even though age is undoubtedly catching up with him, he is perfectly capable of clearing Stages 1 and 2. There's nothing in there that Nagano cannot do.
Stage 3 is mostly the same story except one thing IMO: the Crazy Cliffhanger. It's the kind of obstacle that only those who have specifically trained the technique can nail, and since obstacle replica training has never quite been Nagano's style, I don't see him clearing it. Anything else, he could probably handle, because the stage is not as long and grueling as it was when he won, but I just can't see him getting past the CCH. If it were the UCH, I could see him clearing based on attrition considering how well he did on it in 27. But not The Crazy One.
Even if the final stage is exactly the same as it was when Nagano won, minus a few seconds, then it's hard to imagine he can do it. It took 4 tries for him to do it, and that's when he was faster and younger.

He can beat the whole thing for sure unlike other people who glory hunt and give up on the all stars I still belive Nagano can beat it all.

I think, on a good day, he's definitely still capable of clearing stages 1 and 2. I would even go as far as to say he might still be able to clear stage 4, but stage 3 has evolved into a monster over the years.

Although it is not his style, I hope he would do it if it was neccesary. He should know the best what is important to achieve success.
Btw, amazing poll results so far.

I'm sure it's still possible but things need to REALLY work in his favor to succeed. Any sudden or even a VERY TINY injury ANYWHERE can and WILL have him falter unless the CCH takes him out first!

The CCH would take him out and even if he cleared the third stage his old age and decreased stamina would deny him from achieving kanzenseiha.

IF he could clear everything up to and including the CCH, I have no idea how well he'd do on Vertical Limit (though my guy instinct says he'd fail it, especially after the previous Stage 3 obstacles). As for the Final Stage, I can't see him getting to the top in just 30 seconds.
In any case, I put "Less than 3% but still possible" since Nagano is always full of surprises.
