Close enough but not really the case. Competitors get 1000RMB if they pass the 4th obstacle, 2000RMB if they pass the 5th obstacle and yes u r right, if they complete the course they gets 5000RMB AND will make it into the next round which probably is the Finals similar to ANW. Yeah, Wikipedia says CNY=RMB, my bad. Thanks for these details though. Now has anyone found any wrap-up date as far as the airing goes?

Latest Ep: For those of you that follow Lee on facebook, you might have noticed that he reposted some photos of the China course (slight spoiler involved): If the photo doesn't show up, click on the text to take you to instagram. Note that the where the logo used to say X-Warrior in between the Chinese characters, it now says SASUKE. From what I've heard (take a guess), TBS made Jiangsu TV pay for the rights after they found out about Ersatz Ninja Warrior (oops, my bad China). However, Inui et al still have nothing to do with this course - it's not really THE SASUKE China but it sort of is a SASUKE China. Unlike ANW, Europe or Japan, neither TBS nor those other guys are involved in this in any way.

Thanks Ube! Yeah I had checked what was going on. So while still a rip off.. TBS now is getting royalties and thus is allowing them to use the name "Sasuke" since they now paid for it. LOL If we find out more specifics (or anyone else btw) we will update. So for now.. we actually can move this to the "General" Sasuke forums.
P.S. Now I'm curious how big the fine was.. LMFAO

So pretty much this was an illegal knockoff but they ended up paying to have it legalized? k lol
I'm somewhat amused how this whole thing happened but yet they still are completely ripping off the ANW6 courses, those pictures are clearly the ANW6 Denver course (Quintuple Steps, Cat Grab, Spinning Log, Spikes into Cargo, Devil Steps and Warped Wall). And if they're already recording "Denver" then that means they already recorded "Miami", and know what that means? I'm looking forward to seeing ghetto Dancing Stones and Curtain Slider lol (Jump Hang should be fairly funny with their giant nets as well)

Yeah that's our understanding. Yes it was a rip off and TBS got wind of it and threatened them with legal action. They ended up most likely paying a fine and then in turn license money to use the name Sasuke and make nice with the people they ripped off. I'm sure NBC got involved somewhere (pure speculation on my part) simply because of Brent and Kacy being on there. There's no way NBC couldn't have gotten involved after they caught wind of their 2 stars doing a Chinese rip off competition not previously sanctioned. It's in their NDA and they are very strict about those things. I'm not even sure if anyone really knew it was going to be public on Youtube worldwide. That's some brass ones if you ask me to rip it off AND be public about it! LOL TBS got involved since ultimately they hold the license to the Sasuke franchise and all of its spinoffs. Liao mentioned something about a finals event in September. There's still some conjecture (on my part) as to what is going to happen next but we'll see how it continues now that it has a new name. There's more to the story but atm waiting to see how it turns out since things already changed from what I heard earlier a few months ago. So much has changed over the last year in the Sasuke landscape so far that I won't bother explaining the rumors until I see what ends up finally happening.

Episode for August 11: Direct linkBtw while looking for this I ran into a water obstacle course show also sponsored by Hi Tiger? Seems it's an Obstacle course with only women.. There are about 5-6 episodes that all came out at once of this show and more that came out just a few hours ago if anyone is interested. Seems they are putting this as a gap between X Warrior? The Sasuke episode with the Taiwanese haven't been aired yet so I'm assuming they are still in transition. Some stuff is still being set up to make this whole thing legal along with other tie ins, etc. I'm curious how they are going to do that on the channel if at all.

Sasuke China is up There's a huuuuuuuuuuge political thing going on the background that still ongoing.. but this is the first of the "oh crap we were going to be sued" episodes that officially has the Sasuke name on it. The plan is to merge illegal one this with the final that was originally officially sanctioned by Beijing and make it one big series to make everything nicey nicey. We'll see what happens. For the record.. the Beijing one has not been taped yet. That is expected to become the "grand final" (read Vegas) for these X Warrior episodes. Edit: Yes that's Liao from Taiwan to start the show. He was in both Sasuke 30 and Sasuke 31.

Aside from the off center step at the big gap and the descent the devil steps looked fairly accurate to the ANW version, if anything the season 7 one with screws-removed tilting steps was sketchier lol
Also did they record an episode based on the Miami course from last year? It seems like they skipped from the St Louis course to the Denver course

Not entirely sure but it was confirmed that they did indead steal ANW's format specifically. However, since TBS owns the Sasuke name and has license rights to all spin offs, it was TBS that received the money since they were the ones also that threatened to sue. I'm currently unaware of what NBC may have received as partial compensation for the rip off (if anything). It definitely was ANW's regional course though so since I don't watch ANW intently, I can't readily identify which course specifically they stole.

Well they outright stole the ANW6 courses, they stole Venice, they stole Dallas, they stole St Louis, and you might recognize this from the video you linked a few posts back I definitely was amused at episodes 7-9 since that was the St Louis course (I.E. where I competed last year) and seeing how off it was. If the Bridge of Blades really was weighted at the bottom and had like 10 feet wide of a platform I wouldn't have had the problem I did

Well, at least it's not something completely predictable like their other courses, starts off with ANW5 Denver qualifying but instead of Jump Hang Kai it goes into some Arm Rings into Cargo Net thing, and Doorknob Arch (with much too big of gaps between them compared to the actual Doorknob Arch) instead of Grip Hang

just watched a bit of it. they called the warped wall the 'limit wall'. clear 4 obstacles and you get 1000 yuan. clear 5 and it's 2000 yean, clear the course it's 5000 yuan.
Edit: whoops just noticed it was posted before

There is a fact that need to be recognised is that from the episodes starting with the one that has the 'SASUKE' on the logo of X-Warrior is taped at different places in China. It was taped at 3 locations, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan. First one is at Nanjing as they claimed.
Edit: Instead of Wuhan, the fourth and final location will be in Chengdu instead.(my bad)

Got a new question here, does anyone know how long the season is for Sasuke China: X Warrior? It's been over three months and they are still showing the qualifying rounds now in the third city. I wonder if there ever be the final 4 stages of Mt. Midoriyama.
