It was obvious this Bies guy wasn't a veteran.

Brain Bries is an American who lives in China and has and worked on obstacle course design in the past I think? Also regardless of who won the USA vs. China match up all five teams sent one of thier members to a climb off at the end episode. Won't spoil who won that but I will say climbing a 15+ meter rope in any time is a challenge in its self!

The Cliffhanger Ledges on X Warrior were the exact size of 3cm of wood. I felt the Cliffhanger on the ASEAN CUP(tbs made it) and this one in China, and it was exactly the same. Plus I have my own Cliffhanger at home which is 3cm, so I exactly know what what is! Also the transfer 2 small ledges to the other side were 3cm, all of it was.
Yes the Salmon Ladder was freakin shaky in China. The whole structure did, which made it harder. But you can't have everything perfect like the US Obstacles, they make the good stuff.
Rope Jungle was pretty funny. The 3rd rope went all the way down into the water if you hung on to it.
The Rope Climb was already discussed here I think. Just my perspective on it: First we got to practice the Rope Climb on Stage 4, when it was loose, and nice. A day later, on day of this Rope Climb Competition, they tightened the rope to the ground, creating it into a Pole Climb. Reasons for that was mainly because the climbing itself would make us twist and turn around the rope and the safety harness would get tangled quickly...
This Pole Climb was strange to do since with a loose rope, you can use more legs, wrap it around it like Yuuji and Yusuke do on Sasuke, but now that is was a Pole Climb, the technique was useless. When you look at David Cambells technique, you can see that it works perfectly on the Pole. (probably on a loose rope too), as my technique from the Sasuke Champions did not work out that good as I expected. When I got to climb the rope for a test the day before, I felt great and fast on it. Oh well, the pole climb... I'm ok with how it turned out in the end, no spoilers, but I am damn sure going to practice different techniques on a loose and tight rope, to be prepared for anything!
Brian Bies is such a great guy who works on the X Warrior Show AND gets to compete on it. He competed on a Qualifying Round and got a great welcome from the people and so he was the american that really needed to be on the USA team, since he was getting pretty famous during that show. Plus he speaks their language, which is awesome for him.
Overall there was no mis editing, they aired each episode in the right order with the runs/heats, in the right order as it was filmed, so no messing around with times, run orders or anything like it.
Hope this info was a bit useful for answering some questions, as I am rarely on SMF! Peace out from the Netherlands, Perry

Was there a new episode today? I wish I know the schedule. I believe the versus matches are over and Sasuke China should be going in for Stage 1 and thereafter.

The last episode already aired last week (China VS USA + The Final Stage Challenge).

Yup. The whole season has ended. There are no new episodes. X Warrior has already aired all of their City QF Rounds, their Beijing Finals and last but not least, the China VS Netherlands, UK, Singapore and USA.
That's it for this year, on China.

Their youtube only ever uploaded 2 or 3 QF and 0 Beijing Finals episodes as far as I'm aware. I guess they decided not to put the others up?

To my knowledge they never went up to Beijing as a compromise in letting the television crew of X Warrior take over the show. I may be wrong on that but that was my understanding that they scrapped the Beijing set up since X Warrior was well underway and Beijing was in the planning stages. Things got really complicated once people caught wind of wtf that TV station was doing. To my knowledge the ones that "won" the Qualifiers were thrown into the International event as Team China.

So Philip noticed something while watching the USA vs China episode, this part in particular. Apparently ANW/Sasuke isn't the only thing these guys outright ripped off, since apparently this was used for James McGrath And I just find that funny

Here is the Beijing Finals. They actually aired the Beijing Finals finals first since that was the place to select the best of China, to be put in Team China, to go against Team Netherlands, Singapore, UK and USA.

I can get behind that kind of piracy
