Yeah but I mean seasons 3-7 It's important though.. they can't yank that license since it still belongs to Challenge. Ah, I see.

We have the same problem in this country where Comcast owns the Sasuke license (1-27) but chose to not buy 28-Present. It's in permanent limbo since G4 went down but Comcast is still the owner of it and any other network to take it from them has to go through Comcast to get the license. Trust me, we feel your pain. We don't have it either.

We don't have it either. ITV ere pretty much the 2nd biggest television company in the UK, behind BBC. Challenge is a small TV station, fifty channels down, that survives by showing reruns of existing gameshows, that doesn't produce a single original show.
It is definitely an issue of interest. If ITV wanted that license, they could get it, or find some way to share it.

On 18th December, a celebrity edition will air for Text Santa, a fundraising telethon on ITV. Then two weeks after that on 2nd January the real fun begins!!!

Does anyone know if the celebrity special is on the finals course, a semi-final, a heat or something completely different? I honestly hope it isn't the finals course... the Jumping Spider would kill everyone and it would be super boring to watch. Even if by some miracle a professional athlete managed to survive stage 1, the Salmon Ladder would be an impenetrable wall for every celebrity.

So in conclusion... one clear, two Jumping Spider fails, one Jump Hang w/ Rope Junction fail, three Spinning Log fails, two Log Grip fails and one Quintuple Steps fail...
Normally I would complain about the lack of a time limit and the nerfed Log Grip and Jumping Spider... but it raised £36,000 for charity, so I don't care...

Apparently for the presenters of Text Santa, the Jumping Spider looked "impossible" at first sight...

Not sure but based off the rest of the course it could be the final obstacle from the regional finals in ANW7, involving a pulley system with 2 rings, either that or they have covered up the "Chimney Climb"... xD Invisable Ladder

I must admit, those that complained about season 1 will be at least mildly pleased by the changes made to season two.
The course is much more difficult this time (a complaint for season 1 was that it was too easy), making up for the lack of space with much more difficult grip, balance and upper body obstacles. The Warped Wall has also been increased to - I think - Sasuke height, but don't quote me on that.
Similar to Sasuke & ANW, a group of mainstays are forming similar to All-Stars, comprised of Teige Matthews Palmer, Tim Champion and Timothy Shieff. They also have their first Octopus Man type competitor with "nanny ninja", who has failed on the first quintuple step both times.
I think obstacle construction has also improved. Upper Body obstacles greatly resemble their ANW counterparts, the Jump Hang is better and the Steps are much firmer so far....

Here's the first episode of Ninja Warrior UK season 2 (not fake, but most likely YouTube will take it down in days or so)
