Hunter went to the tapings and.... Let's just say it had a fishy ending unlike the first season that took only a couple of weeks to air after the taping is looks like season 2 will air next year. I hope we don't have to wait that long for someone to spill the beans on what happened.

Apparently the Paddle Boards (ANW7 Orlando) and the Jump Hang w/Lache Bar are going to be featured in Season 2.

There was no rope climb up to the platform for the Rope Jungle at the start of Final Stage 2 (we were sat just behind it in 'section 6'). Instead they had the new removable obstacle - "B&Q Ladder" The supports for the Salmon Ladder did look a lot more sturdy than in S1 , they didn't wobble from the draft of a passing butterfly's wings this time.

Yamada snuck in posing as a Sasuke spray salesman and ran the entirety of stage 1 , stage 2 and stage 3 in one go but failed the rope climb when he started crying.

I don't have complete confirmation but I was told by a couple of people this set of information. Both are spoilers and if anyone knows EXACTLY what happened then PM me privately and I'll change it. Don't shoot the messenger. I wasn't there. The fishing ending was someone who wasn't selected for Season 2 got really pissed off and thought they owed the world their presence and cockily jumped onto the stage and ran the course. Seems the cameras were not on anyway so the idiot got what he deserved. Either way, his run won't be shown and he is permabanned.
The other was that no one got past the Salmon ladder this season in the Finals. No one.

I was trying to imply "fishy ending" to an obstacle name

I was trying to imply "fishy ending" to an obstacle name I don't understand.... How? Did it shake so much it flipped 180 degrees? Was it a technical error.... Or did they just add more rungs?

Unlike last season I can confirm they fixed the salmon ladder. Like last season I can also confirm that the stage 2 time was ridiculously short

Like last season I can also confirm that the stage 2 time was ridiculously short Yep, groaned when they said 75 seconds again.. the only plus side is that there's no longer a rope climb to reach the starting platform for rope junction, so I guess that effectively 'adds' 5-10 seconds for them (depending on how fast they were at climbing it in S1).

Just remembered something I overheard whilst at a taping session. I was in the audience listening whilst they were doing an interview... Anyway the guy had beaten the Warped Wall and was saying how "it's an honour to be here, me and my wife have been whatching ninja warrior for years". The guy directly behind me in the adience, as well as a few others directly said: "but it's only been going for one season".
I had to fight the urge to correct them and give a half an hour history lecture SO BADLY lol

So I have an uncle that works with ITV, and as a fan of NWUK, I really wish some of the problems were fixed. I am aware season 2 has taped already, so this letter/message would only serve to help future competitions (if they even happen), but I feel this is worth a shot anyway. Anyway, my Uncle said he could probably get a letter to the right people, considering he has contact with many figures in the ITV infrastructure.
So my idea is this, I put together a list of improvements that could be made, written in an official, formal style. I decided to share this plan here, so I could get a better idea of what people want to be addressed. So far my main suggestions are:
1) Time Limits in Heats, to give a faster, more exciting pace to the show.
2) Switch venue from Manchester Central to the nearby, much larger Event City (still indoors, but would allow for more obstacles, a third stage etc, due to the cheaper cost to rent and the much greater floor space...)
3) All obstacles to be properly tested beforehand, in order to insure correct construction (Such as the shaky salmon ladder in season one).
4) A larger competitor pool, as the small total number of competitors (250 - balanced with the large chunk of "joke" competitors) means less people will get far in the course, as evidenced by the disappointing final result of season 2 (no-one getting past the Salmon Ladder supposedly).
If the whole community gives their opinions, I can incorporate them into the letter, which could actually help the show in the long run. Feel free to post suggestions below.

Dear ITV, stop filming in an indoor convention centre up north and start filming outside in London. Also make more than 12 people run the finals course as (no offence) they all suck Derpy Dom

Yeah, more people in the final sounds good though
