If anything, the spoiler makes me want to watch MORE. This may not matter as much to casual viewers, but people like us on this board who really know the competitors and know a bit about who they are off of the camera, it really makes me want to see who it is that beats the course.
Also, funny scenario Philip came up with:
Kenji Darvish wins, and they remove his facepaint and reveal it to be Yamada.

Have they teased any of the previous victories in ads? Yes, every time, which is why I don't get why some people are overreacting Matter of fact, here are the ads 24: (You can hear Keisuke's call of "kanzenseiha," the blurred truck screen is of Yuuji hitting the button (though we didn't know that at the time) and you can even see one of the signs used to cheer him on fly up like they did in celebration of him winning) 27: (Both videos have the same shot of the zoom in after Yuuji hits the button and you can hear the smoke) And here's the broadcast of 17 from the very beginning letting viewers know, there's a new Grand Champion after 7 years: Precedent has long been set.

I'm a bit upset that they said 4th winner, even though there have been 4 clears in the past.

That's not what the screen says. It says 4年ぶり 完全制覇者 現れる (yonnenburi kanzenseihash arawareru) Roughly "After four years, a 'total victory' person has appeared." (Or if you stick to the usual translation of -ぶり with extra license for readability "For the first time in four years, someone has completed the course.")

There is hope for Nagano then I don't want Yuuji again so I hope Nagano but think its Ryo or Shinya as a second pick.

If it were Drew and then he failed on ANW, I could easily see NBC boasting about how much more difficult their course is. They would warp it for sure.

I'm a bit upset that they said 4th winner, even though there have been 4 clears in the past. This would be the 4th winner, but the fifth victory. Sasuke 4: Kazuhiko Akiyama (winner 1) Sasuke 17: Makoto Nagano (winner 2) Sasuke 24: Yuuji Urushihara (winner 3) Sasuke 27: Yuuji Urushihara again (still winner 3) Sasuke 31: ? (probably winner 4)

Let's not forget guys... There seems to be a camera in the Tackle Box which means... funny competitor grunting faces!

This is what happens when I rely on someone else instead of trusting my instincts for Japanese

Year's ago, when I first saw him, I knew Shinya was going places.
That is my pick.

They probably wud boast about it even though the anw course is not as difficult as sasukes. The course's difficulty relies on not only the amount and type of the obstacles, but the scale and quality of the obstacles which is what makes sasuke the mother of obatacle courses

I honestly don't mind if it was Yuuji again. I'm not gonna hound Yuuji for being able to obliterate the course thrice, but if it's Ryo (since he's 100 this time and I want to see a 100 win) I'll be happy. And I think I speak for all Shingo fans (including myself) that I hope it was him. Then there's Nagano. Oh, so many people it could be.

Ahem this is SHINGO we're talking about. Whenever you say Shingo will fail... here he freaking does NOT! XD He is an oddball that CAN tango with the youngins. We'll dream of it though.

Shingo getting to stage 3 would make me happy. We haven't seen a proper 3rd stage attempt from him in 9 years.
And I wouldn't be surprised to see Nagano pass the CCH. He seems to learn things rather quickly and considering there was the CCH jump at the past 2 Maguro Festivals, he may have picked up the technique. Not sure about Takeda.
