You guys are reading too far into the timeslot and the next day, there isn't any kind of reference and what you're seeing is purely coincidental, there isn't any intentional terrorism reference there... plane and simple... I know this is kind of a late comment. But you did that on purpose, didn't you? "Plane" and simple? πππ

Kudos to him for nailing the proper CCH transition. Is any technique improper if it is within the rules?

Kudos to him for nailing the proper CCH transition. Is any technique improper if it is within the rules? In Japan yeah. There's only one way to do it there, and he did it the original way.

The switch-over technique is not allowed in Japan, but it is in ANW. It's not like some people are "cheating" or not doing it properly if they switch over, provided the producers clearly tell them it's allowed. I mean yeah, credit to Joe for doing it the way in which most people consider the more difficult way. But no 1 way is "proper".

It can also mean respecting recognized social conventions. That's the meaning of proper I was going for here. There's no need to critisize the different uses of word definitions on an everyday post like mine.

Kudos to him for nailing the proper CCH transition. Is any technique improper if it is within the rules? There really is no "proper" technique on this version. Although, Joe did, in fact, state he felt the Crazy-transititon was the correct way to do it, and stating that he thought the turn-around before the jump was the easy way out. I agree with him completely, especially considering the 4cm Cliffhanger nightmare. ANW talks about the competitors making the UCH look easy, when it really isn't. But tbf, it is KIND OF easy (relatively speaking). The "Crazy Cliffhanger" in Houston last year, was an absolute joke. I think I could do that, tbh.
