Oh boy SASUKE 3, a tournament I seriously need to watch more. So here's a few I... guess questions. Ok so based off the performances of the 5 men who made the final stage, which one would you have high hopes for in the next tourney? (Meh you saw all of them so this is a weak question at best...  But I really am running out of options...) Whatever happened to Yoshihito and Tatsuya Yamamoto anyway? Also Matsumoto? Your thoughts on Yamada at this point? Was he ok back then or at least tolerable? |

Yamada came inches away from achieving Kanzenseia. Do you think that's a real reason on why he became known as "Mr. SASUKE"?
Also, was Akiyama worthy of getting a high number?

I'm kind of curious about the details of how cold it was during this tournament. I remember them mentioning it a bit via subtitles on the G4 broadcast, but (unlike SASUKE 25) I'm unsure how much of a toll it truly took on competitors. Most notably, could the near-freezing temperatures during Yamada's Final Stage attempt have significantly impacted his chance at kanzenseiha?

just an FYI, Indianapolis ('the circle city') was the regional last year that took place on half of Monument Circle at the center of downtown. It took up essentially the 'top'/north half of the circle, so three roads for a block were closed off, but two of them only half the traffic lanes were closed.. They managed the closures and got things open the morning after the final tapings pretty well.

Okie dokie! We tape early next week for a news-packed episode! We will be dealing with current news on Kunoichi (taped today), Sasuke (taping next month), Beastmaster (airing next month) and other odds and ends. I do have a HUGE question. Who do you hope will return for the 20th anniversary of SASUKE? I can think of a few off the bat. First off, KANE KOSUGI. Also maybe Ken Hasegawa. Who would you love to see return?

Yep we'll answer them! Keep them coming! The whole episode will be news heavy since we are totally in the season now and we have 3 tournaments (including Yuuji in Beastmaster) within 4 weeks of each other. LOL

I'm sure we'll get inklings of it throughout the podcast, but considering the sudden nature of Kunoichi 9's existence, what are your personal expectations for the event? I think the event itself will provide an entertaining show, but I do worry about the airing. As of writing this, we're just two weeks away and even closer when this is recorded. It would be a shame if the effort put into this is for naught because no one knows it's on.
A more casual, less speculative question: What is your favorite/most notable failure? (Parameters can be any you want: funny, dramatic, painful, etc.)
