Was it me or was Ryo frowning when Morimoto won? Thought I saw him looked annoyed or something.

This tournament was so emotional for me. Not only was I happy for Morimoto, But there's so many emotional fails that I wished that A) It didn't happened B) I didn't watched it C) I got no options left...
So Emotional, I almost cried at Nagano's Stage 1 fail.

Am I the only one who would have thought it would be amazing if Wreath man just came in smashed the whole course won it and then immediatly announced his retirement and left with the loot like a boss?

This is from twitter:
Inui: Morimoto's gonna get featured on Kochi's (his home prefecture) local news show. That's kinda awesome. I'm proud of him. I hope he'll get a girlfriend too. Urushihara: I'm afraid if he'll find someone ahead of me. Inui: That...that sounds possible. Urushihara: I almost gave up on it. Inui: Work on Tackle as well as woman. Urushihara: I've been training my lower body since then and ready to take both! Inui: Shut up.

This is by far the most entertaining season I've watched. Such an emotional rollercoaster as well. Morimoto is the man! I'm so happy for him, and I believe his victory really touches all of us who are fans of the show, and who work hard to chase this ridiculous dream of conquering midoriyama. A victory for someone like Morimoto is much more meaningful and endearing than if it were (EDIT) a professional athlete who was expected to win. Yusuke carries on the legacy of the everyday man achieving god status through hard work. I think I'm in love.

Was it just me or did they spoil Nagano and Urushihara before they ran? I didn't watch it live but what I saw was before they ran (before the commercial) they had both of them missing the wall... Wish they didn't spoil the win, I thought it was going to be Ryo, but after he failed it was obvious (to me at least) who the winner was going to win. Overall I think it is fitting that Morimoto won, a young man possibly leading a future generation. I hope for 32 they renew more than they did last time. I want surprises for these competitors so they can prove that they can get far without practicing the obstacles every day at home.
First and second stage were pretty good, but third stage got boring for me. Everyone was failing the same obstacle. I hope they do some changes to that, maybe make the cliff hanger slightly easier but up the difficulty on other obstacles in the stage. Overall I thought it was pretty good, didn't expect the All Stars to do well, but I hope they keep showing up just because they are icons of the show.

I'm still bitter about how Inui cut clears... THERE WERE 10 LESS THAN LAST TIME! There's no excuse as to why he cut them. How hard is it to add digests jesus christ

How hard is it to add digests jesus christ He got ripped mercilessly online and on the Nico Nico to the point that he admitted he did a mistake. He tried to edit "to get ratings" by focusing a lot of time on the celebs but he should have gone with his gut and shown the fan favorites. (he said that during the nico nico broadcast after Jin's run when he apologized for not showing him and Okada's clears after the chat demanded to know why they cut the teacher clearing again). I'm hoping that means he changes how he does things next year.

Even after his apology I'm still pissed.

He cut Kong and Nagasaki in the first stage too. It was pretty jarring actually.
I'm surprised Wakky and Kinnukun weren't there too.

Like with anything, tell him directly. He already acknowledged he screwed up but he only said it because people were pissed. Whether he likes it or not, he has to hear it and not just from me. He has a twitter he uses faithfully.

Does Inui know anything specific about M9 Era Sasuke? Always wanted to ask about the G rope, metal ladder final stage, and Final Ring.

How hard is it to add digests jesus christ This is what I don't like about long 3-4 hour episodes. There is not enough time to show all the runs and it gets boring. If the show was split into several episodes there would be more runs shown and more people would watch it.

^lol speak for yourself, it's bad enough waiting for one showing of Sasuke. Plus it's just a once a year variety show in Japan. I think It can only be this way.
People will complain about anything. I think Inui did a good job. Nothing is perfect. Was the most visually and emotionally appealing broadcast I've seen of Sasuke. Only thing I disliked was the new salmon ladder, although it was better working wise than the Swap.
