My argument is we should see the top 30 then they show the run for the top 15 instead of the long gap between the qualifying and the city runs on TV heck I wondering if they do a Monday Tuesday of the qualifying then the cities if that would not help the ratings. ^ This.

Irrelevant, America's Got Talent has the Tuesday night slot and there's no way in hell that's getting bumped.

Hand no clue about America's got Talent but I do not watch that many regular TV shows only a few I still like the top 30 then top 15 in back to back weeks would be better than the current one that is me

Honestly I was against the format they're going with at first but honestly I've grown to like the showing all the qualifiers then showing all the city finals format, having the same course two weeks in a row would be s*** for ratings even with 4 more obstacles added, also kills the TV atmosphere of "we're starting out with the first round, NOW things got serious for round 2" kind of thing rather than "Oh here's a qualifying, here's a finals, oh nope we're back to a qualifier, heres the finals for that but oooh we've got another qualifier..." thing, qualifying on G4 and finals on NBC for ANW4 wouldn't work now and would be s*** for advertising revenue and worked out s***ty since the bigger network gets the slower round before getting people hooked. And if they put NBC first and put qualifying on NBC and finals on Esquire that would be a s*** idea since that would confuse the f*** out of casuals AND the fact Esquire is in much less homes and typically a channel on the upgrade package and would be bad for the producers/network since that's less episodes for NBC meaning lower ad revenue.
tl;dr things work perfectly the way they do. Casuals are the big money makers. If it ain't broke, don't fix it
