Who knows maybe Shingo did choose this number. Yeah but thats different. They purposely made him 1 because he was almost like a legend, to give him respect. Shingo being 31 doesn't seem to symbolize anything. So I have no idea why they gave him that number.

Maybe Shingo was given that number beacause he wanted to go early and get his run over with so his nervousness doesn't get to him later.(Could've sworn someone said my post already.)

Guys seroiusly, shingo was 31 because he ALWAYS has a low number... always.
He gets really nervous and it's not wierd for him to be in the 70's, or even the 60's. He most likely requested it or they gave it to him because they know he gets nervous and he'd prefer a low number.
Yamada is 81, probably the lowest of the all-stars excluding Shingo.

I noticed something during the Navi, someone was doing the Salmon Ladder and it looks to me, and again I'll stress to me, that it was Lee Enchi because of his technique he was using on the Salmon Ladder. O well, we'll find out in a few short hours.

9 hours in fact.
And where abouts in the NAVI was this? Towards the end, middle, or beginning?

O sorry, this whole sequence took place about 17:15 minutes into the show. Also, for last minute psychoanalyzing, check out these two little things in those short seconds:
1. In the sequence where the person fails the Circle Hammer, David is right next to the course. Could this be someone from G4?
2. In the sequence with the guy on the Salmon Ladder, try to pause the video. Take a look in the background. It looks like the Swing Ladder is still there. Also, there is a giant metal structure before the Wall Lift, could this mean a new obstacle, or was that always there? Also, is that Lee, Levi, or could it be someone else on the Salmon Ladder.

It looks like Olivia actually I don't recognise who's doing it, but he is using that technique Levi and Lee used. So I assume this guy has Le as the first two letters of his name And BTW, the structure was always there, it's the Wall Lift
