Some big names digested, wtf. NBC you don't understand how to build drama and keep viewers interested at all do you?

Also, why has everyone been failing so early tonight? A ton of people failed before the wall.. Rain rain rain, water on the obstacles is a bad combination

Wow just ignore Brian Arnold for most of the episode just to show athletes who have 2 minute backgrounds but fail pretty early.

The body prop killed a bunch of people it looked like several just slipped due to traction. I wonder if it would had been easier barefoot because of how wet it was.
Koffman going out on bungee row that was a surprise and Megan going out on the 2nd

Oh yeah, they keep FF'ing Kasemir because his GF's death is old news now and there's been nothing tragic in his life recently and he's not in the wolfpack. Okay, got it.

My biggest complaint with NBC I love to see more runs even fails and my goodness the amount of time some people are spending between an obstacle is crazy trying to get a breath. I remember the boot camps man those where cool to watch and after that if I remember correctly they use to have to beat a time clock the first few seasons after that and they also had to qualify at Vince for the boot camp correct ? From the boot camp years I remember Campbell. Neely; Levi, Evan Dollar, Brian Orsco and several others

But yeah, that first guy to clear last night took AGES. Sasuke does have the same problem in stage 3 by creating a snoozefest of people resting... in fact ANW is better about it tbh.

if I remember correctly they use to have to beat a time clock the first few seasons after that and they also had to qualify at Vince for the boot camp correct ? Back in ANW 1-3 where there was only one qualifier there was always more than 30 finishers any they only took 30, so you have to be finish as well as be fast or go home pissed you took too long of breaks. But ANW 2 Finals changed that with there not being 15 finishers they changed the rule to "furthest fastest" but this was after they realized there was not going to be 15 finishers. This continued into ANW3, then the whole game changed when they took the show on the road for ANW4. They had a to use the furthest fastest in most cities because they had less quality per region. (as much as I hate to admit it my region of the mid-west was very weak in quality they had a hard time finding people to fill this region hence walkons like Johnathan Morin, and Matt Laessig from taxes competing in this region). After that ANW5 they wanted to focus on finishers and that was the first time I heard the rule of "hit the buzzer and you will move on no matter what" and now with stuff being more tricky and harder and never an issue of more then 15 finishers for Vegas, its all about finish the course and not worry about time. That was long winded I know but its what I tell anyone that is going to compete. Only one person will win the money and odds are it aint you, so take your time punch your ticket to Vegas and let the chips fall where they may when you hit stage 1. This aint new to veterans and as much as we want it to be a sport, its more a contest and you got to play the game hit the buzzers and hope for the best.

It was great to see Lance Pekues finally breakout and become the star of his city's region and show that people from any background can do well on these courses. Also I hope he was able to clear the jumping spider this year he and competitors like him put to much effort just to fail the fourth obstacle.
Also congratulations to Karson for making it to Vegas again I hope that you did well there.

Isaac the new champion is here and about to run! [EDIT] SERIOUSLY?! KASEMIR AND ARNOLD DIGESTED?! I just wanted to say that this post spoiled the ending of the show for me, which I was pretty upset about. I know that technically it was spoiler tagged but my understanding was that the spoiler scope for threads should be limited to spoilers for the shows/region that thread is covering. I was reading through each regional thread following the airing of the finals episode so I wasn't too concerned about reading spoilers properly scoped for each region/episode. There was another spoiler post in this thread that contained a preface of something like "HUGE ANW SPOILERS, DON'T CLICK" etc. so I was very careful not to click it, but this one was just a casual let's give away the ending without much warning. As a result of this, I stopped visiting this forum until the show was over to avoid any other spoilers and will likely not visit the forums during future airings unless this is properly addressed.

I know it won't make much difference now but I'll edit it so as it doesn't say that anymore.

Thanks, I appreciate the reply. The silver lining is that it was interesting watching the show for the first time while already knowing what was going to happen. I was able to pick out a lot of not-so-subtle hints with the editing and previews.
