I just realized something: there's no way TBS will shell out for all the music, right?

He's doubtful they can use it all. Editing hasn't started though... so I don't know what TBS is paying for yet..

Honestly, I thought the DVD was going to be edited similarly to how it's been done on the official YouTube channel (without music, just showing everyone in full and in order). After all, the only songs they wouldn't have to worry about paying due to copyright reasons are the 12 original tracks composed before SASUKE 29 and the production/free-royalty music they've been using. That being said, it will be interesting to see if/how they may have to work around using frequently-incorporated music (most notably Yagyu-Gaiden).

It would definately be a welcome option if there was a HD download of the whole thing available (assuming it was priced sensibly..). And probably a lot less overheads than producing international discs, only the hosting& bandwidth costs.

Sorry for the bump, but I think I have a good reason tho... The DVD will be released on 5/29 ... Which means 4 days left Translated tweet (thanks bing lol) @no2_cliffer: SASUKE 30 anniversary DVD release, 5 / 29 happens to be my birthday! The times became the best grades for the first time. In something like gifts, happy (. ❛ ᴗ ❛. ) t.co/AnNSv3d9pvEDIT: Ryo tweeted that in March (the same day as the NicoNico obstacle broadcast) Inui was/is busy with Sasuke Vietnam and Sasuke 31 and other things

People in Japan should be getting their sets today (I get mine next week because I'm never home).
However, sets were being sold at Midoriyama so they are already out there.

I hope the DVD works out really well in Japan so that they could think/plan about selling it outside of Japan...

Now that the DVD is for sale in Japan, does anyone know if/when a full results list for SASUKE 30 will be published online by either TBS or fans? If anyone does come across such a document or webpage compiling all of the results and times, could you please post the link here? That way, we can update the page on SASUKEpedia. By the way, it looks like the DVD boxset is also available for sale via Amazon Japan. I'm not sure if it's possible for those outside of Japan to purchase it this way, but anyone who is interested can certainly look further into this option.

It is a limited run. And that is a wrist band.

With regard to Amazon Japan - if it says "Ships from and sold by Amazon.co.jp" then there should be international shipping for most things. Near the top right, click on "Would you like to see this page in English?" for convenience. You'll need to create an account for Amazon.co.jp even if you already have an Amazon.com account. When it asks for a shipping address, choose the International option. Price comes out to ¥9,274 - (¥9,274 plus 8% JP tax equals the ¥10,016 on the listing page). They only have "AmazonGlobal Priority Shipping" which they say is 3-4 days to North America. Attachment DeletedCDJapan lists ¥12,000 with many shipping options ranging from ¥1,000 to ¥2900 to US. Creating a new account gave me 300 points which equals ¥300 that can be applied as a discount. honto lists the same price as CDJapan and should have similar shipping options, but the site is Japanese language only so I can't really look into it.
