Just saying, if Matty's obstacle had motors and it rained that day, the obstacle would cease to function because of weather hazards. The Hedgehog might have even become "The Path of Slight Inconvenience" if it had ever rained in 29.

These days obstacles are designed with having that "Health and Safety Department" that Sasuke now has in mind. Also, budget is in mind. If an obstacle becomes too costly to make safe honestly, they will just scrap the idea. They just don't have the budget.

Backstream of Doom: Like the Backstream, but with sharks, piranhas, and blue-ringed octopi, as well as a layer of stonefish across the bottom of the tank. (Note: TBS is not responsible for any accidents, as each competitor must sign a non-liability form prior to attempting Stage 2).

Dreamers Road: The Kunoichi version but with Big Balls being thrown at you and Box Lady constantly shouting at you to try and put you off. 100 metres long, with a 30 second time limit

I still like the idea of long jump then make a jump to a trampoline and grasp a rope and slide to a platform. Did I lose someone?

I sent this in for the Nico Nico competition, except I hand drew on lots of fire for explosions, as if you touch one of them tripwires then the whole obstacle explodes #StillLessRidiculousThanANW

A Lesson in Probability
Expected: ANW > Nico Nico > This thread
Actual: ANW < Nico Nico < This thread
Lesson: The expected outcome is merely a representation of what probability dictates what the result should be, not what the actual result will be. Also, high variance.

I actually LOL'ed at how much more crazy the Japanese kids' obstacles where. I openly cackled with some of them. I am however happy that the foreigners gave better obstacles overall.
