Reduce the number of obstacles that try to kill competitors (Rumbling Dice I'm looking at you) and ban anyone called Kacy from getting anymore than 1 minutes interview and general hype time. she had teh urn, now can we please focus on proper competitors (sorry Kacy fans :S) and also get some celebs to run the finals course, it's easy ratings and I'd love to see someone like Si Robertson run the course "Can we please focus on proper competitors" and "get some celebs to run the finals course" in the same sentence??

I mean like how SASUKE do it, they can still have like 5 joke competitors a tourney whilst still having a load of time for the top guys too, ANW focuses all their time on like 3 people and the tiny bit thats left on the rest. Also an extra episode dedicated to the final (more if Stage 3 has more guys in it), this year was way too anti-climatic especially after 15 weeks

I've often fantasized about having NBC just dumping all the back stories and such for all their different episodes into one show called competitor profiles for people to watch all the sob stories they desire.
Air that in the afternoon or the day before a new episode, and air actual ANW or whatever the show is the following night. Then, people who actually care about competitor profiles can get a chance to watch them as a preview and they can air far more runs. I can't see how anyone can find a two minute profile more entertaining than something like a Kevin Bull Cannonball Alley run, even if people do enjoy profiles.
Not that there is a remote chance of that idea ever happening.
Edit: If they really wanted a good competitor profile, have the ANW version of Kuramochi or the guy who couldn't get his pants off at the start way back when to keep the qualifiers from getting too mundane.
