Nah, arsenette is correct. NBC always doctors footage. Always.

Again. It's always the "new" people who question me directly as if I was the one that did the deed. I just laugh. I seriously do. Either way I will not discuss which ones spoke to me. They are under NDA for a year. The others who aren't under NDA don't want to deal with being questioned by those who love being duped by creative editing by NBC. Again. It's like this has happened for the first time. It hasn't. This is the 3rd time it was blatant. This one was just more breath taking. I've been doing this for over 6 years now and quite frankly I'm tired. I'd rather concentrate on my true love Sasuke than ANW. It's clear NBC doesn't care for their athletes or even their guests. It's about NBC and only NBC. That will never change. Now I know why I was told "don't worry, we aren't upset, we knew before we left it's just a TV show. Just watch on television and enjoy the creative editing. Those that were there know what happened. For the rest it's compelling television". THAT I can say was from Team Japan. I'll Follow the advice and just stick to Sasuke. Can we please NOT be elitist here?

I didn't attack you personally I was just curious of the credibility of your sources. Your comment about it being taped in front of an audience makes me think people were timing with their cellphones and probably a lot of them had Brian losing to Ryo but that might not be a good measure especially if it was close they might of started timing to early with Brian or to late with Ryo buy if you know somebody inside NBC who has evidence that they fixed the results that diiferent.

Hell most of the time it's in ANW and not necessarily in the special. This time it happened in the special with spectacular fashion. And if that is elitist then so be it. Where were you back in June when I gave the results? I didn't attack you personally I was just curious of the credibility of your sources. Your comment about it being taped in front of an audience makes me think people were timing with their cellphones and probably a lot of them had Brian losing to Ryo but that might not be a good measure especially if it was close they might of started timing to early with Brian or to late with Ryo buy if you know somebody inside NBC who has evidence that they fixed the results that diiferent. Yes they were. Again, this is not new. This is now standard practice for anyone watching ANW. Never trust NBC to give you the correct results.

Nah, arsenette is correct. NBC always doctors footage. Always. She's not completely wrong either. Let's not pretend Brent wasn't a fix. Many people there (even competitors) said Brent was out. Did they do so here, you can believe whether they did or didn't. But on both sides, let's not stoop to this kind of posting.

If you'll look at my profile page you'll discover I've actually had an account here for over a year now.

Take 5 minutes in my shoes and deal with the hatemail because I don't accept the word of NBC but rather the word of the competitors themselves and see how long you decide to endure it. I'm not paid to do this. It's a hobby. For those who have been reading my posts, follow me on twitter and my blog know that this was the last season for me before the special was even taped. I was wavering if I was even going to post a blog on it but the Japanese wanted me to do it for them because it was important to them so I will. However, dealing with posts like yours year in year out gets taxing. By your own admission you haven't been around long enough to know that this is not the first time I've been singled out. I knew it would happen when I did it but even the competitors know that I only have so much in me. I'm tired. I really am. So I'm bowing out. This is by far the worst year from the ANW centric posters that have come into the boards. The most polarizing and the most demanding. So yeah. I'm done with ANW. This event and the bulls**t that NBC pulled was the icing on the cake. No one in either of the 3 teams deserved what happened to them. They fought hard and did what they could. All of them. I always root for them. NBC however can kiss my a**.

all 3 teams deserve the best. I agree with that. I'll root for them all... Team Japan especially. I'll let you bow out. You deserve to focus on what is important to you.

ANW is a reality show that's pre-recorded, so the producers always trim around the edges. The runs are always mixed up to add for maximum suspense, and I have no doubt Jenn Brown didn't interview any of the Japanese because they were so pissed off about how poorly designed the obstacle courses were. She probably received a bunch of Japanese curse words in her attempts to interview. As arsenette said, Brian Arnold and Ryo were literally neck and neck, but why did Arnold finish comfortably ahead on TV? It's stuff like this that makes me a skeptic in these USA vs competitions. There was already a ton of controversy last year, and this year opened up another can of worms.

If it's true NBC fixed the results of stage 3 to make it go to the fourth stage than what they did was illegal and must be held accountable. Its one thing to edit out of order to make it seem something happened first but it's another to change the results of a game. So if NBC did do that expose them again I have no personal reason to defend them but you need proof and if the athletes know that this game fixing is widespread they need to voice their concerns openly.

Also... I can safely say the Japanese Godfather did better than the American Godfather. I couldn't be happier for Shingo right now. *happy tears* I don't care if he failed soon after... Just seeing him run the course I felt so alive... seeing my favorite SASUKE competitor again.

Have you read the 30 page NDA? It's not illegal since it's a made for TV event where everyone was paid to show up and they have the right to edit their own show to their choosing. It's there in black and white. The specific wording that this is NOT a sporting event is crucial in court. They broke no laws. They did this three times already. Last year in ANW vs. Japan and a few years ago with Brent in the 2nd stage.

I first want to say i l appreciate the time that you spend trying to gather information about the show and if NBC changes the results of the show and if it is legal to do so than that's really sh***y. But even the words of those who were there is not good enough it would to take internal documents from NBC that there was deliberate action to alter the results that would be the silver bullet.
This will be my last post on the topic however I am curious of what happened last year during USA vs Japan that was questionable.
Again thank you for taking your time to do this and if your right don't stop talking about it.

This is a pretty small place and this is a really big issue.

and a few years ago with Brent in the 2nd stage. Wait what. Brent actually timed out at the end instead of just barely making it, but NBC let him through because it would look really bad if 20 something people got taken down by Stage 2 because it was poorly built. That's just the cliffnotes version.

I REALLY liked the event. I won't spoil it, but I will say that I think some of the spoilers a few months back were incorrect.

Anyways, how different was Stage 2 between ANW 4 and 5?
