Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena -- Really tempted to put Cena, though. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins -- Rollins won the Ambrose feud, so he gets fed to Reigns. HOOAH. Paige vs. A.J. Lee vs. Nikki Bella -- ANYONE BUT NIKKI. Paige/AJ have barely gotten more than five minutes and considering the circumstances I hope that continues. We don't need Nikki stinking up the joint. Brie's not a technician of the ring any more than Nikki is, but the only thing Nikki has over Brie in-ring wise is her finisher. Mark Henry vs. Rusev -- I know the rumor is Rusev's staying undefeated in singles until Mania, but it's getting tiresome. Rusev isn't ruined by a genuine loss here. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton -- Seems obvious. Jericho's planning on touring again, so he takes the L. The Usos vs. Goldust & Stardust -- With rumors of The Ascension being called up, I'm hesitant, but Usos have held it long enough. Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz -- I see no reason why Miz wouldn't win, but this is just bias. Sheamus vs. Cesaro -- Also bias. Nothing against Sheamus, but he's above the U.S. title. You can argue Cesaro might be as well, but the title seemed important when he held it the first time.
Like I said earlier, if this is half as good as Takeover: F4W, it'll be a success. The card leaves me pretty optimistic.

I'm not sure which part of the gif is funnier, the flipping her over while in a pinable position or the asking the ref to count

If you watched the live broadcast, you heard the ref say "COUNT WHAT?"

Night of Champions happened last night. Oh by the way, Roman Reigns is out 1-3 months. Since we were debating this: I'm still OK with AJ/Paige trading titles again. What should have happened was Nikki taking the fall. That way Paige could have the "you didn't actually beat me" card. General opinions: Tag Title Match: Great opener, those four have good chemistry. Usos have really come into their own and we know the Dusts are good individually and as a team. Finish was weak though. Makes sense from a "All the air was sucked from him getting knees to the ribs" standpoint, but I would have liked Stardust to hit Black Matter again. ***1/2 US Title Match: Nice subversion with the chain grappling start, but did start a bit slow before it became the brawl that was expected. I got way more excited than I should have when Cesaro hit the Alpamare Waterslide (he's only done that to Sheamus in WWE, IIRC). Nice sudden finish with the Brogue Kick, would have preferred Cesaro win, but this means the feud continues. **** -- MOTN (tie) IC Title Match: Neat match, nothing really special about it. Have we seen R-Ziggler vs. Damien Mizdow yet? I was fine with Miz stealing one, although from a personal standpoint, don't like it. Ziggler should have held it until Survivor Series IMO. Or HIAC at the earliest. Florida Georgia Line is going to be performing at Tribute to the Troops, so considering not watching this year. This probably means we'll get to hear some "Bro-Country", yay... *** (the match was decent, the FGL fellatio, not so much) Rusev/Henry: Another decent match, although I'm over the Rusev vs. the USA shtick. I like Rusev being a heel that doesn't need to blatantly cheat (because a monster shouldn't resort to such tactics, unlike say Miz who should be trying to break every rule in the book), but wish there was less patriotism. **3/4 Orton/Jericho: The only match as good as the US Title match, if not better. Jericho committed the two cardinal sins regarding Randy Orton: "Never enter through the middle rope," and "Never dive off the top rope onto a standing Randy Orton." Hell of a way for Jericho to go back to Fozzy stuff. **** -- MOTN (tie) Divas Title Match: I watched it again. I actually enjoyed it. I still think Nikki is barely passable, but all things considered, it wasn't bad. The Tower of Doom spot was great, and Maffew has a gem of a "Everybody talks too much" for next Botchamania. **3/4 (Tempted to give it ***) WWE World Heavyweight Title Match: Was into it the whole way through. I actually was hoping WWE had the balls to get Cena the win. Rollins interrupting and going for the cash-in was a perfect escape route. ***1/2 Ambrose returning gets ***** just out of principle. Hope Rollins/Ambrose is in the Cell.

TCM, you were in the chat for my impromptu ratings, but I'll briefly summarize my thoughts for the forum: Dust/Usos: The Usos have been on fire lately. I want to see this feud go on for a while. **** Sheamus/Cesaro: Hopefully that match will bring some prestige back to the terrible title that is the US Championship. ***1/2 Ziggler/Miz: Disregarding the farce that was FGL's involvement, this was a good match, even if I don't like the title swap. *** Rusev/Henry: groan. ** Orton/Jericho: This match got a lot of hate in the IWC but I liked it. A slow, methodical pace benefits these two wrestlers. **** Divas: I was surprised that this match didn't suck. WWE did the right thing in keeping Nikki mostly out of this match. If Nikki won, I was prepared to give this match minus five. AJ winning doesn't make sense unless they want to squeeze more out of the AJ/Paige rivalry. **1/2 LOLCENAWINS: That was, uh... wow. Not as good as the first match but a shocking ending that they probably wrote to please both Lesnar and Cena. ***1/2 Oh, and you can rate the matches in a survey I made for r/squaredcircle, if you wish.

btw did anyone see this weeks Botchamania? The 6 man Mexican Ladder match could be the worst wrestling match I have ever seen xD

I think every company planning to have a ladder match needs to watch that video, 1: Get ladders that don't break from normal use 2: Have way more ladders than you think you'll need just in case 3: Actually have the object you're using actually be able to be taken down easily (But at the same time not TOO easy, I have seen so many botchamania moments of something falling in a Ladder match)
Also despite a few failed attempts over the years, I'm going to try to actually to get into WWE, watched a stream of NoC last night and probably am going to watch RAW tonight

Has anyone seen the BFG card yet? It's 2 weeks away and there is still no heavyweight championship match, only 2 matches confirmed and the main event is James Storm and the Great Sanada vs Tajiri and The Great Muta... and it's being taped in Japan so we have to buy their biggest PPV of the year that isnt even live... AND Jeff Hardy is still probably banned from leaving America and one of the Wolve's broke their leg. If TNA survives until this time next year I will change my profile picture to Rockstar Spud, I am that confident that TNA will not be here next year!
EDIT: Oh and they taped there events already for after BFG so we can predict most of the results anyway...

I'm not outright saying any spoilers here but I'm hinting about things yet to air so I'm going to spoiler it to be safe. Now see what really seems to be the issue of how things are different as far as title changes go between America and Japan, over here whenever it airs is when it happens, in Japan it counts whenever it was taped, I remember Wrestle1 was mad at TNA for the same reason earlier this year, problem being if you read the spoilers, ALL the titles changed hands, (specific spoilers here) and this becomes an issue because one of those two announced matches is for the X-Division Championship, and involves the TV current champion and the taping current champion, this can't end well As for a couple of the issues you brought up, I looked it up and Jeff Hardy's probation should be over (googled it, 30 months from september 2011, should have been up a few months back) so he should be able to appear, not sure what's going on with the Davey Richards situation since he was able to tape the Full Metal Mayhem as part of the series for the Tag Team Championships but W1 is saying he's still injured so I don't know, maybe that's a cover up for the title situation, maybe TNA sent him out before he was fully healed (I wouldn't be surprised with their track record) but yeah, they're pretty much throwing away what they used to consider their biggest PPV of the year...

Do you watch much NJPW Rider? If so I think Tanahashi is facing AJ Styles for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at King Of Pro Wrestling on the 13th October which should be decent, the King of Pro Wrestling event will be so much better than BFG, although at least KoPW is the day after so it won't make TNA look so bad

I don't but I've been meaning to get into it, would that be a good place to start? I've seen the stuff they've done with Ring of Honor (at least the stuff that got shown on RoH TV) and the stuff posted here and been meaning to start watching it

I've been getting into wrestling as of late basically so I could understand what Rider and RC talk about in chat. I enjoy it actually, never thought I would lol.
So anyways, my universe in WWE 2k14 is full of weird upsets. Some notable ones:
-Darren Young beating John Cena and Daniel Bryan -Kenta becoming the WWE Champ -Bo Dallas somehow becoming the N1C (idk why) and subsequently defeating Kenta for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series

I would love for those last two things to happen.
If someone wants to get into NJPW, one way to know the roster really quickly is to watch the G-1 series where all the main singles wrestlers compete. You'll get a good idea about their characters and movesets from that.

I started getting into NJPW after lostinube recommended it in this thread, so I watched the G1 climax and I have been hooked ever since. The wrestling quality is so much better than that of WWE and TNA and the booking is a lot better and has me invested in the whole card rather than just the main event. King of Pro Wrestling is on the 13th October with champion former TNA star AJ styles facing (their equivalent of John Cena) Hiroshi Tanahashi. Also check out Kazuchika Okada, he's really good in the ring and has the coolest finisher

I never usually keep up with spoilers, because I prefer the effort made to actually be a surprise for some things, but my god, this is too good to pass up: If you're a redditor on the wrestling subreddit, /r/SquaredCircle, there's a member who claims to used to have worked for WWE in a fairly significant manner (I think he was a former writer or something like that). He's been confirmed and generally is a trusted source when he is made aware of certain things. At the moment, he is saying one of the current plans for the Hell in a Cell PPV is to have Nikki vs. Brie. Seems easy enough of a prediction in general, not much of a spoiler, right? Well, he's not just saying they're facing each other, he's saying they're facing each other as one of the cell matches.

I... What in the... How the... Why? Why waste one of the cell matches on that... See I expected that to be between how the opening match goes (If you guys have heard that plan) but this? Plot twist, Vince McMahon and Vince Russo have been the same person the whole time.
