It's sill easier than the previous model since the previous version you couldn't really get a full grip on the handles that were on the log itself.

Yep, exactly.
I've always wondered if someone could actually get enough momentum to actually get the log to miss the first drop altogether, and have an extreme drop from the 1st ledge all the way to the 3rd. I'd be surprised if anyone (even the all stars) could survive something like that happening.

XD But yeah the drop I think is too long for that to happen

There have been a few times where the log has come close to missing the first drop as a whole, I remember a couple of times in Sasuke 21 where the log just barely hit the 1st drop (but I also think that many competitors didn't know that the log was released from a track to make it start compared to Sasuke 18-20 where the competitors controlled their own momentum on it). Then again, the track was also shorter as well for the original log grip so if anything, it would be more likely to happen on the first version compared to the 2nd version.
Realistically, they should bring back the first version of the log grip anyway if you ask me to make the first stage harder. They could easily put the same holes in the new log like they did in the old one.

But didn't you say earlier that the log grip is back to being the beast it used to be? More so... the loggrip has never taken out a serious competitor other than Jun Sato, Rich King and I think the other Iketani.

It'll never be as fearsome as what the Rolling Log did long ago and also the rolling escargot. Both managed to trash vetrens, all stars, and shin sedai alike. the log grip morely just thinned the crowd

Bring back the Bridge of Blades. And yeah the Log Grip is a bit boring other than when it was in Sasuke 25.

They should bring rolling log back but make the tracks more slippery. But anyways back to topic so, all and all when is this video thing going to be over, I'm guessing about January.

Personally, I don't see much of an issue with spreading out the video uploads showing the cut runs from SASUKE 30. After all, doing so will at least give us something to talk about for a while during the long hiatus until SASUKE 31. Also, regarding the topic of how the Log Grip has only taken out a few competitors with potential: let's not forget Hiromichi Sato in 19. Also, Mark Witmer in 21 if you think about it.

They should have a spinning version of the log grip, kinda like the obstacle that they had on Takeshi's Castle back in the day. Add a couple of drops in there and you have pretty much an exact hybrid of the Log Grip/Rolling Maruta.
