I've noticed that some of the big names were not in the ANW 6 competition or didn't get coverage (, which is unlikely since they are big names).
Should have been discussed already, but I'd like to check all those names who did not participate in ANW 6 and poor guys who participated but didn't get coverage for them.
The first name I've come up with was Tim "Livewire" Sheiff. Didn't see him in any regionals.
The second name is Jesse La Flair. Well as for Jesse, I just checked Suskepedia, and found out that he did participate in ANW6. Didn't even see a digest of his run though. Does it mean that his chance for wild card at Vegas Final is slim?
Well, I can't remember more names at the moment.
So did Tim Sheiff participate in the competition?
What about Levi Meeuwenberg? Well, it's a very long shot, but did he come back? Probably not.

Levi didnt either. Nor is he still prevalent in the parkour/freerun community.
Jesse went out on the Slack Bridge or whatever its called (your correct, no digest, no nothing!)

Thanks, RiderLeangle. Thanks, dlee.
Checked La Flair's run for Vince qualifier at Youtube. So he touched the Slack Ladder at the end and got disqualified. That's a shame. But he made a spectacular flip from the stage after the DQ.
As for Levi, I hope he's been doing well as a professional stuntman at Hollywood. I've heard he did "The Bourne Legacy." So he moved on. I liked him very much.
I have three more names.
Remi Bakkar Stephen Volcko Luci Romberg
Did they compete for ANW6?

Not sure about Stephen Volcko. To my knowledge (only according to FB and Instagram) I believe Remi Bakkar did not compete. Although he regulary posts training clips with Paul 'diddy' Darnell at Tempest Southbay. He is super explosive and I do want to see him compete again. Luci (to my knowldge) also didn't compete. She has been all over Europe being in films and going to pk/fr jams. Go vote for her online submission video to Redbull Art of Motion Santorini!!!

I do know of someone who received plenty of air time last year and got no mention this year that I should probably mention (despite an early exit in vegas last year)
Jeffery Tan DID compete, he failed the Rolling Log in St Louis Qualifying, he failed the same way the majority of the competitors in St Louis did, held on to the long, made it to the platform but didn't make it far enough on the platform and slipped right off into the water.

I totally thought they showed Jeffery Tan failing!

I really liked Remi when I saw him in ANW4. He quit the job at Cirque du Soleil in Vegas for ANW at that time, right? He was all in. His wife and daughter were cheering him almost desperately. When he failed at 2nd stage, his daughter started crying so hard. I was really rooting for him. I hope he's been doing well because I don't want to hear someone like him broke up with his wife because of the decision he took for ANW. I'll check his clips. Thanks for the info. Oh, yes, Paul Darnell. I forgot his name. Did he compete for this year?
As for Luci, like Remi I wasn't really expecting her to compete for ANW. Was that Tempest thing? I saw her in the clip bunch of parkour guys were doing flips on the deserted airplane. I'll go check her too. Thanks.

Jeffery Tan. The name was familiar, but couldn't remember his face. So checked his clip at Youtube. He was a handsome Asian dude, and did make it to Vagas Final last year. It's a shame he failed at Rolling Log. But sometimes early obstacles like Rolling Escargot or late obstacles like Spin Bridge works as an equalizer. Shingo failed at Rolling Escargot.
Thanks for the info.

Yeah ANW4 was like the first tournament i ever watched & it was so tense when his wife was on the sidelines shaking and looking completely terrified. My friend & I were really let down when he didn't come back in ANW5. But maybe he will be be back next year. Never know!
I don't know for sure (maybe someone can verify) but i dont think Paul Darnell competed this year either.
Nah, Luci (I believe) was doing stunt work on an actual studio movie. The clip your referring to is called Tempest Pro Takeover: Airplane Graveyard. Features many of the world's top movement athletes.
It really sucks when the schedules don't match up for people to have an opportunity at running the course.

Brian Orosco going out early and getting ff-ed was a shame. Would love to see him as a wildcard. Regardless, I hope NBC doesn't faze him out, and that he doesn't pull a Levi and peace out.
Frosti Zernow -- did he compete this year?
Jake Smith and Brandon Douglass -- I heard they had an argument or something with the producers, and got canned. Is that true?
Chris Christensen -- did he compete this year? Wasn't he a walk-on / tester last year?
Jake Hilton -- any word on him? Going way back, he was the American with the most potential at one point in time, IMO.

Brandon Douglass got the #1 qualifying last year in Denver, and then opted out of competing in the finals (due to injury). However there was also an instance of him, jake smith, and others leaving the competitor area without saying anything. Producers were looking for them and they weren't there. I heard them get chewed out.
As for Steve Volcko, I talked to him at ANW5. He said he was proud of what he had accomplished and was a bit tired of competing and the stress that came with it. Dunno if that means he stopped altogether though.

Has anyone heard anything recently about Travis Furlanic? I remember there being mention of him having some sort of legal issues (?) back around the time of ANW4's finals, but I don't recall hearing news about him since then.

I haven't really been spending time to check parkour actions lately, but I should.
Thanks for the info.

I guess (I hope) that he decided to start a real life in society, which is of course good for him. I liked him though.

To my knowledge, he voluntarily peaced out from ANW after Sasuke 27 due to personal reasons.

He DID have legal issues, but there hasn't really been any news beyond that.

The legal issues, if I remember correctly were that he made it to Vegas in ANW 4, however in his past he had a DUI and was not allowed to compete in Vegas. I'm pretty sure I remember reading something he posted about it on the old Ninja Warrior Forums on G4 and that is what I remember him saying.

She didn't run. Her leg was broked.
