Here's the preview for next week's episodeI would put the blame on ATS more than anyone, and I don't blame A. Smith & Co. for not disqualifying him, watching it again, it definitely slid forwards because of his roll, Joe (and everyone) HAD to swing because of the thing being 60 pounds, I missed the cut (by a long shot...) in St Louis but I have first hand experience with the Rumbling Dice, I know I defended it earlier in the thread but the fact Joe's Rumbling Dice incident may or may not have happened *wink* the way it did may or may not have because of how it's built, they could have did many things to prevent that... They could have not put it on those little rails for a track, they could have put the bars along the side that they have in Japan to keep it from sliding off, or you know, they could just NOT MAKE IT 60 POUNDS! *ahem* sorry about that... But IMO that would be ruled Obstacle Malfunction in my book. and as we saw through Nagano's interesting fail on the slider jump he was given a second chance. I doubt ANW is gonna do that but looking at the preview, it seems he's going to do something crazy! Last year Brian Arnold had to run stage three again because the flip hang came apart that was posted on this forum it very while could be a malfunction would not be the first time for ANW

1: There's no such thing as the Flip Hang, there are obstacles called the Spider Flip and Hang Climb but neither are relevant to this because 2: It was the Ultimate Cliffhanger 3: There were multiple reruns given in Stage 2 during Season 4 because of the Slider Drop having an improperly sized bar...

Is there a video showing this?! No it came from people that attended the event and they did not show it on TV it was posted in the spoiler part last year so yes it came apart. It was something about the screws or something I will see if I can find the link from last year

Fairly obvious since there's no such obstacle as the fliphang

^ Amusingly enough, the testers weren't allowed on the spider flip last year (anw5) because a screw was missing from the ceiling board on the first section and the ATS tester almost pulled the whole board off.

There seems to be more injuries, especially shoulder dislocation, happening lately caused by tweaking the original specification of obstacles such as Tilting Table for example. The safety of participants is the most important issue in my opinion.
As for the Kacy's run at Dallas Final, I was more impressed at her Final's run than the qualifier. She should have had a lot of practice with Warped Wall and Salmon Ladder at the gym, but both Swinging Frames? and Pole Grasper must have been the obstacles she'd never had tried before. It was a truly historic run.

I haven't seen any shoulder dislocations. I'm pretty sure they said that Nika Muckleroy tore/strained a muscle in her shoulder when she fell. In any case, they are doing a lot to protect contestants from injury. We see just as many injuries on Sasuke as ANW.

As someone who is legally under contract not allowed to say anything negative about American Ninja Warrior, I fully support A. Smith & Co. for building a Rumbling Dice that is able to fall off. I in no way hold A. Smith & Co. liable for what I assume to be intentionally building a Rumbling Dice that is able to fall off. Additionally I must legally condone the behavior as well as acknowledge A. Smith & Co.'s dedication to competitor safety

And one douchebag obstacle... I mean uhhhm... a perfectly nice friendly obstacle that I do not harbor any animosities towards

Apparently Bud Light decided to exploit honor Kacy's run in a tweet.

Apparently Bud Light decided to exploit honor Kacy's run in a tweet. If they were really nice they'd give the Bud Light to those less successful... I could have used a beer after my Bridge of Blades fail...

Apparently Bud Light decided to exploit honor Kacy's run in a tweet. To be fair, you have to appreciate it for several reasons. For example, they really captured Kacy's blonde hair and fair skin very well during the countless seconds they put into the photo shop.

I actually almost fell asleep on the drive back home from Dallas. Alcohol would have been nearly the last thing I needed right then, even watered down stuff like Bud Light.
