Bunpei Shiratori at the starting point of 1st stage
Voice-over, narration
Bunpei Shiratori, 46 years old, works at the municipal office, Inzai-shi, Chiba prefecture. His debut of Sasuke was at the 9th competition.
He exhibited his athletic prowess as a former triple-jump athlete.
He's become a finalist at 12th Sasuke competition.
After that, He continued to perform outstandingly as one of Sasuke All-stars.
Yet his knee problem deteriorated his physical condition,
and disappeared from the competition after the 21st.
He is famous for his home-made complete 11 Sasuke-obstacles-set built at his backyard.
And Sasuke All-stars used to gather at his place before Sasuke competition (to practice at and for tune-up),
which was called "Shiratori-moude" (Shiratori pilgrimage).
When we visited his house this time before the competition, however, the set was no longer there.
Shiratori: When I was taking down the set (in 2009),
somehow took a few pictures for memory.
Couldn't participate in the memorial 10th and 20th competition,
so I'm eager to be in there for the 30th.
Voice-over, narration
Will this be his final yuushi (brave figure), Sasuke All-stars, Bunpei Shiratori?
After the fail at Jump-hang Kai
Nagano: Same as the past. That's Shiratori-san's approach (to jump with one foot).
(Post-1st-stage-run interview of Bunpei Shiratori is posted at the 1st page of this thread.)

Nagano: Same as the past. That's Shiratori-san's approach. It would have worked if he hadn't tripped on the trampoline...

Nagano: Same as the past. That's Shiratori-san's approach. It would have worked if he hadn't tripped on the trampoline... Watching it again, I don't think he tripped. It looked like he just went too far forward, hitting the frame of the trampoline rather than the springy part, then stumbled instead of launching because he was expecting to push off of something bouncier than he landed on.

Yes, he missed the spot. It was the yellow frame he hit, not the trampoline mat. He almost made it though. Happens very often especially at Jumping Spider.

Yes, he is. He can speak Japanese now. I can't... XD I only know some Japanese thanks to Google Translator, like I know "こんにちは" means hello, "さようなら" means goodbye, and other stuff

A few requests, much appreciated if you can get this done:
1. What Hioki Masashi says after his second stage success (also what Kanno says just before it)
2. What Urushihara Yuuji says after his second stage failure
3. What Asa Kazuma says after his second stage clear
4. What Asa Kazuma says in his video prior to his third stage run.
Also that Bunpei translation gives me hope that he may come back.

Also that Bunpei translation gives me hope that he may come back. You're not the only one. The translation points to a return, it really does.

I don't even think the translation was necessary. I thought I saw that "itch" for him to continue.

Btw thanks for this thread! Yeah the Takeda divorce I wasn't sure if it was final but it's sad that they announced it that he indeed is. Those on Facebook saw it coming in slow motion and it's truly sad the circumstances around it.
My request for translation is a short one. I have my own theories on what Nagano said (and I'm up to that point on the blog but wasn't sure) where Ryo just finished his run and Nagano has this sheepish grin on his face and tells "everyone".. something and everyone laughs almost as if to say "more is coming please look forward to it?".. I found the whole thing funny because clearly Nagano got nervous.

Those on Facebook saw it coming in slow motion and it's truly sad the circumstances around it. I am friends with him on Facebook and I didn't catch any of the telltale signs of an upcoming divorce... But of all the all stars to do this I'm shocked it was Takeda... I was kinda thinking if any all star would be divorced it be Yamada... But still... I'm in utter shock!

It's been going on for a while now. This all happened late last year/early this year. I'm pretty sure that was before you became FB friends with him.

Guys... respect that these nice folks even friend us, people who have no business even requesting their FB friendship. Speculation is not so important and somewhat intrusive in my opinion. I know it's a message board but, I think it's best we move on.
Meanwhile, I want to know what Morimoto had to say about having the number 3000, that must have been pretty cool! I like his demeanor. I am curious if he talks the way he walks.

When he got the saddlecloth was the first time he saw the number so that shocked face was legit. He felt shocked then honored then humbled that TBS found him mature enough to handle the number. So he took it as an opportunity to try to live up to the expectation. He was jumping out of skin he was happy to have it but shocked that it actually happened.

As soon as it was revealed by TBS that Morimoto was going to be #3000, I was pleasantly surprised about him being given that number. He seems like a really mature/deserving guy, and as a long-time fan is very knowledgeable of the responsibilities of being the final person to run Stage 1 (with additional emphasis in an anniversary tournament). My only concern was how much the pressure of the situation would be upon him, but overall he seemed to handle it rather well, and even seemed to enjoy the situation (as he did in 29 and his other previous tournaments) rather than worrying about making it to the Final Stage.

The more I know about him the more I like him. He actually has a similar attitude of another All-Star's personality.. Akiyama. They are very similar in the sense that they see the macro picture a lot. They know the implications of things and see the world as a whole. Morimoto knows the importance of the number and geeky enough to know all the stats behind it (you guys would lose in a Sasuke Jeapardy with him. He's amazing! LOL). So when that saddlecloth came out he was more thrilled than "omg this number is heavy" the way Yuuji felt. He knows how each of them has worn the number (and of course saw the one from Sasuke 18) and wanted to at least live up to the expectation. 2nd stage he admitted the time mismanagement and said the number had nothing to do with it. If there was any pressure it would have happened during the first stage introduction. And it didn't. He was elated.

Hi, guys. I've been busy for the last few days. A lot of requests have been piled up. I need a lot of time to do all those translations. So please be patient.
OK, so sinzkurtza-kun request,
1. What Hioki Masashi says after his second stage success (also what Kanno says just before it)
2. What Urushihara Yuuji says after his second stage failure
3. What Asa Kazuma says after his second stage clear
4. What Asa Kazuma says in his video prior to his third stage run.
I'll check them, and will do all those translations.
To arsenette-san
Is your request is what Nagono said right after Matachi cleared the 2nd stage?
To dudesky1000-kun
OK, I'll check What "Mr. 3000" Morimoto-kun commented about #3000 given to him, and will do the translation. He's very polite, a very good guy, I think, as you could guess from his demeanor.
