Hello everyone, this is my first post and first thread on this forum and i would like to share my opinions here with this thread. There are polls who is worst All-Star and who is best All-Star etc. But i have wondered, who is best non-star? If you wonder what do i mean ''non-star'', basically it means competitor who doesn't have any ''Star'' nickname (All-Stars and New-Stars) but still does amazing results (Nagasaki Shunsuke, Takahashi Kenji, etc) There is a lot competitors to be best non-Star. Here is some competitors for example: Asaoka Hiroyuki in past tournaments showed great results and in Sasuke 12 made all the way to the Final Stage. Nagasaki Shunsuke had 6 years break from Sasuke and came back just to fall short in 2nd stage and recently made all the way to Crazy Cliffhanger. Who else could do same what Nagasaki did? Takahashi Kenji has own nickname (Veteran) but since we're looking a best non-Star, i accept him in to this poll. Takahashi's results are amazing. If we don't count his stupid DQ on SSL, he had 100 % average passing Stage 2 and he had unique method for Shin-Cliffhanger. We can just say he is no doubt most powerful competitors in Sasuke history. And yea, i am Finnish and there is a lot errors in my text. But i try my best to write text that everybody understand it What is your opinions, Sasukemaniacs? EDIT: Oops, wrong place to this thread. Can someone move it?

I'd say the best non-star would be Kishimoto. He has incredible upper body strength AND He got to the Vertical Limit in SASUKE 30

Li En Zhi certainly deserves a shout. He had the deepest runs in two of the toughest tournaments. Tremendously consistent during the Shin-Sasuke Era and if not for a stupid mistake right away in 27, he could have been alongside Yuuji and Ryo in the final.

In past tournaments i liked..
Jordan Jovtchev (Sasuke 8, first attempt ever, fist foreign to get final stage)
Kosugi Kane (2nd foreign to get final stage)
Nakata Daisuke (if he wouldn't be in hit and run accident, who knows would he be 2nd or 3rd winner? He had awesome record for getting 3rd stage)
Shinji Kobayashi (His failure in Sasuke 16 pissed me off. He had awesome runs and was always fast and awesome ending of 1st stage by hitting buzzer with leg)
Takahashi Kenji (like i said, unique method for Shin-Cliffhanger, awesome Stage 2 record, he is fast, he is strong, he is championmaterial.. just perfect)
And lastly but not badly..
Nagasaki Shunsuke (He is perfect. Early tournaments Stage 2 time up, but then 2 Cliffhanger failures and then Final Stage run. He impressed everyone by doing so and even in Sasuke 18 he showed everyone that his Final Stage run wasn't fluke. After Sasuke 19 he took 6 year hiatus and returned just to time up on Backstream and Sasuke 30 to get Crazy Cliffhanger. He is still young and i bet he will be achieve victory someday. He is my favorite all of them)

I think Iketani Naoki definitely deserves a mention as well. He's been to the Third Stage 6 times.

Did everyone forget about Okuyama? Consecutive 1st and 2nd stage clears from 22-27 and he also cleared the 1st stage in 20 and 29. Plus, he reached the final in 24.
