SASUKE 30 is OVER!
SASUKE 30 has officially come to an end! We would like to thank everyone that joined us in tonight’s broadcast, as well as to those involved in setting up the stream for our fellow SASUKE fans. In addition, we would like to thank Tokyo Broadcast System for continuing to support SASUKE, as noted by events such as the SASUKE ASEAN Open Cup which took place earlier this year in Malaysia.
Tonight, we saw successes and failures from competitors new and old. For the sake of spoilers, none will be posted here, now or in the future. If you would like to know more about the competition, or were unable to join us and missed it entirely, please message a staff member for information on how to watch the competition again. For those of you that are interested in SASUKE’s legacy, we will also need help in documenting SASUKE 30 over at our free and open-source wiki, Sasukepedia.
Also, on a side note, American competitor Drew Drechsel will take your questions via Twitter! Send him a tweet @ninjadrew with the #RealLifeNinja hashtag and he will answer as soon as possible! Please be respectful of Drew, all other competitors, and TBS / Sasuke.
In other news regarding the broadcast, we broke a few records this morning, thanks to all that showed up to make it possible :)

SASUKE 30, officially 「SASUKE2014」夏 (lit., Sasuke 2014 Summer), is set to air on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 6:57pm (18:57) JST, going until 10:48pm (22:48) JST; on TBS in Japan.
SASUKE 30 is the actual competition. All 100 competitors compete and roughly about 75 of the competitors are shown in one way or another. The broadcast shows just about everyone, including any international competitors, depending on how well they did. The broadcasts are typically anywhere between 2 to 6 hours long, but definitely moves quickly. This competition specifically will be 4 hours long. For those who have never seen the original Japanese broadcast, it is very different from the American produced license, Ninja Warrior. SASUKE contains a wealth of dramatic music, competitor intros and bios, and lots of suspense right in the middle of runs (you’ll see what we mean). Competitors are generally shown in order of their number, starting from #1 and moving through the First Stage to #100. The show is likely to be shown in primetime in Japan, which means early morning for the USA (as early as 2am Pacific and 6am Eastern) and a little bit later in the day for Europe (closer to mid-day).
