I for one am stoked that Kenjiro Ishimaru is still kickin.
...Maybe this time the flags won't fall. (Only Rider will get this joke)

That's not Nagano that Yamada is hugging. That's one of Yamada's Black Tigers. Look at the shirt in that pic and in this pic on Yamada's Facebook page. Black Tigers ShirtsThe guy Yamada is hugging may be the guy on his left in this pic. Yamada and Black Tigers

BTW for those asking about Yamada, he was listed running AFTER the tigers so of course he would have been dry. He didn't run yet. He also is still going to be cut from the broadcast. I asked.

They're full-on cutting him from the broadcast? That's...a bit of a shock. I knew about the picture thing, but I didn't expect his run to be totally cut.

TBH I'm not sure if it was because of the picture or not. I just know that his own run will be cut because Yamada did something epicly stupid. I didn't have the balls to outright ask "Why" but it was epic enough to get TBS stamp of approval to have him phased out. They do plan to show him with the Tigers (and the video of him hugging one of them was proof) and by all accounts they are just going to phase him out of the show and have him retired once and for all. Seems there's now an agreement with him to just have him walk away. He's even been talking about it on Facebook that it's time to move on and has been almost in a Yamada farewell tour of late.

As annoying as it is that he went and did something worthy of such treatment, it's a sad day for SASUKE. I never looked up to the guy, but a part of me had hoped that with each passing tournament, maybe for just one time he could have his day and clear the first stage again. His existence in the SASUKE pantheon seems rather Shakespearean. Too bad he will never have his day. It's a shame the book had to close like that. At least during his final run, he did make it up 'one' wall.

He's had a notorious and rocky relationship with the show since the very start so IMO it's fitting he's leaving this way. With his ego being his downfall. Once the show airs and I see what was actually shown we can spoil later how far he got in 30.

Yeah that's great... I don't care. -_-

Sorry, couldn't resist, not when we have actors from two different train-themed tokus at this Sasuke, although I did love that the promo showed both Kamen Rider show alumni in it, but really, Nagase, you didn't have to do your henshin pose at the start line, you don't have your Driver, after all...

Yamada had planned to retire after Sasuke 28. When Shingo, Nagano, and Takeda started talking about competing in Sasuke 29, Yamada did not join in. Shortly before Sasuke 29, I asked him if he was going to compete. He replied that he had retired. My immediate response was "But you're Mr. Sasuke!" Before Sasuke 30 was even announced, several of his FB friends/fans began wishing him good luck in the tournament. They were not asking him if he was going to compete. They just wished him good luck. He finally told us that he would compete one more time.
A while back, he posted on his Facebook stating that he intended Sasuke 30 to be his last tournament. It was not the old "If I don't clear the first stage, I'll quit" thing. This post was very humble. As much as I like Yamada, even I have to admit, that's not something we often see from him. But this post was humble and polite. I didn't understand all of the message, but the gist of it was "The past 19 years have been fun. I'm grateful for the time that I've had competing. It's time for me to step aside now."
So, he was planning to step down anyway. But now they're going to force him out regardless of his decision. I guess he can't come back, even if he wanted to. He must have done something pretty bad for them to force out Mr. Sasuke. Still, I hope he'll continue to attend the tournaments as a spectator and cheer on the Black Tigers and his fellow All-Stars. Remember, once an All-Star, always an All-Star.

G-Rope is the rope mounted on Bungee cords, the Tsuna Nobori is just connected without the bungee, This makes a difference of maybe a second if that... I've climbed a bungee rope, it felt no different than climbing a regular rope aside from pulling it down at the start

Wow. I was lurking through this thread and wasn't really making a whole lot out of the commercials, but after catching up on the Yamada stuff, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't surprised. I'm not very well versed on all the details of Yamada, or much of anything really now that I'm only around once in a blue moon, but I never thought I'd see the day where Yamada was actually forced into retirement by production. While I'm not a fan of the guy, it's going to be weird without the five minute pity party he gets thrown every tournament before his run. =P He might be pushing fifty, but maybe he'll finally pull his life together? Am I being too optimistic? =P

I not going to drag this off topic but just one last thing about Yamada always kinds makes me smile how he brushed off Yuuji at Bug in Miki 08 then Yuuji goes and beats Sasuke twice, that must have killed Yamada inside lol.
On topic its not Nagano he is hugging for one its in the sunshine and as we see Nagano runs at night time, It could be one of his tigers passing the 1st Stage.

{Spoiler}That means Yamada didn't get very far... :/ {Spoiler}Whoops, I meant #2924. Thanks for catching that. {Spoiler}That means Yamada still has some chances Btw #2924 is Endo Seiichi. EDIT: I didn't see posts above, I can't believe that Yamada will be completely cut. What kind of mistake could he make so it would be so embarrassing?

Remember, once an All-Star, always an All-Star. truer words were never spoken. All 6 will easily be remembered as the SASUKE all stars.

It's very strange seeing Yamada's run being cut. After all he is Mr.SASUKE and his run is being cut.
