great video man Except you have a fresh pair or arikaes and mine are full of holes & discontinued !!!! lol. If you got them recently feel free to let me in on the secret. I tested a lot of shoes awsell and ariakes were generally by far the best. There a bit stiff at first but such amazing grip and easily one of the most comfortable shoes to wear. For ANW6 though the Tempest NLS-1 (orangebottoms) will be the shoe of choice.
Amazon wont ship them to Australia devo! Deffs check out the NLS. Joe Moravsky was rockin them last night. Saw heaps of people clear in them so far. Not very durable but wear them with thin socks and you will forget they are on your feet.
Thanks for this video. Good info. LSO thanks for giving me advice on my workout big fan of yours. I lol'd at "Oh! They're bad! They're bad!" Hahaha anyway would you consider remaking this video in the future only include the toe shoes as I've seen many people use?
My friend Noah ran in the toe shoes, Vibram was the brand he had. Though he cleared stage one in Vegas with them he didn't recommend them. I actually may revisit this topic as I have been exposed to some other shoes I am interested in.
I just got done hanging out with those guys non stop for several days. I have since ordered 2 pair of the mr10's, in fact they just this second came to my door haha. I will followup with how they do vs the ariake.

I know, I was there (read my username backwards)
I just got my pair of MR10s as well and did some preliminary tests. Feels comfy and the rubber sticks just as well as my MR00s, although I'm not sure if it's Vibram because I didn't see the Vibram logo. It is slightly heavier than the 00 though.
Models or brands? For the new balance models, they also have the MT series (Men's Trailrunners) but I would advise against them because their aggressive tread design does not fair well on smooth surfaces.
MR00 (both versions 1 and 2) and MR10 (only version 1, other versions have inferior soles) are the models I recommend. My friend has another one that I've seen which looks decent but I don't know what model it is.
I've also tried a variety of Merrell barefoot shoes (road glove 2, vapor glove, torrent) that I like. Great grip on variety of surfaces since it uses Vibram rubber on the sole, but the sizing is all over the place and they don't fit my feet as well as the new balance shoes.
There are some other brands out there but I haven't tried any of them.
both but specifcally i dont want the individual toes. but being my first pair of legit barefoot shoes im at the mercy of local shops. deffs gonna try and look into the New Balance. in your opinion are these the most comfortable? thanks for the info man!!!!
Just goofing around with the mr10's yesterday I can say I really like them, and I am usually not a fan of the "bare foot" style shoes. I am going to try them out on the floating doors and see if I can really notice a major difference over the ariake.
Has anyone tried the Vibriam on the course but you have to like the individual toes.
Noah used them on the course and said he doesn't like the grip on them. He had a hard time getting up the warped wall when usually he has no issue. I don't care for that style of shoe, but that is just me.

I just got back from parkour tonight and my running shoes are already ripped (I started wearing them only a week ago). I asked the guys there and they recommended the minimus, so before I go and buy them, I thought I'd ask a few things here.
First, is there a difference between the MR00 V1 and V2, alot of reviews online said the V2 causes blisters, but if I wore it with socks, would it be fine?
Also, I'm assuming Minimus MR00 and Minimus Zero are the same, but I'll ask before I buy, so are they?
Finally, would you say the MR00 or MR10 is better, because I'm guessing I'll only be able to get V2 of either of them, and I know nehcney said the MR10 V2s had inferior soles.
I've never tried the MR00 v2 so I can't speak for that. The sole looks the same but the fit might be slightly different, I don't know. The MR00 v1 are very comfy though.
As for the MR10 v1, I've only worn it a few times so I can't say much about it. It is quite comfy, a little heavier than MR00 but it does have more padding so it would help with jumps and landings. Grip is great.

Thanks guys, I'm going shopping today, so hopefully they'll be a pair in the store I can try on and test out for my self, and hopefully no one gets mad if I try doing wall runs or cat hangs in the store to test out the grip!
