I don't know if that's the right place to post this but here we go... So i've contributing to the wiki for quite some time (Not that much but when i have the time, i do) and while in the late 2013-early 2014 there were only 3-4 people contributing significantly to the wiki, now the place is full of "Wiki Contributors" who try to vandalise every page they find as much as they can. Under the mask of "Wiki Contributor" noone can blame you for anything you may have done, but this is getting out of control EXAMPLES Tsuna NoboriKane KosugiThis new category...Gervasio DeferrAnother Weird CategoryAnd these are only 5 of the 1000 vandalisms you can find in this very wiki. Luckily, there are some people who go beyond themselves, solving these problems, but we need to take some action before this gets out of control. I haven't seen an Admin there for a while (Something probably understandable, as they may have not the time needed to contribute in there as well) so we need to fend ourselves from this "Wiki Contributor" attack before it's too late. I really enjoy browsing this wiki, and i would be really sad if the whole place blows up one day. Cheers

you may thank wikia for that! since they upgraded their systems into a "one-wikia-to-rule-them-all," we no longer have access into banning accounts and ip addresses since its a uriversal wikia login now. we are looking into eventually moving away from the wikia system into your own install, but it does take lots of coding for what we have in store. just be assured, none of us over there have forgotten, just with what wikia does and doesnt let us do will make it pointless to try and secure sasukepedia in its current form.

Wow, didn't know about this at all! So you're saying that you're trying to host a separate website or sth like that? If yes, this sounds pretty cool!

Yeah, Sasukepedia is an absolute shithole now.
blt, maybe you could switch over to MediaWiki? That's what a lot of wikis use now.

MediaWiki is just the software that powers like 90% of all wikis on the web, even Wikia uses MediaWiki as their codebase, just with extreme modifications to support "Wiki Farms." And yes, we have plans to move Sasukepedia to our own hosted solution. All in due time... all in due time.

In the mean time, I've gone in and fixed those 2 categories you've linked. Shouldn't be any more articles linking to those categories.
When I have more time, I'll hop on and see what I can do.

>:I Well, uh... 2nd most notorious... I was a noob, ok? Sheesh. Anyway I'm hating the new vandals, (WordGirl VS. Japan made my gag) so I'm willing to help anyway at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same kid who used to post YouTube comments which combined TBS's "SASUKE" and PBS's "Arthur". /sigh It'll be so nice once we have our own hosting system.
BTW, will it be possible to transfer the relevant, accurate data from the current Wiki to one which we may potentially use in the future? Going through the process of re-formatting each page's text entries and displays, along with re-uploading hundreds of pictures, would certainly be a painstaking process which would definitely be nice to avoid (if possible).

That's why I saw Percy roaming the SASUKEpedia... Someone needs to hose him and anyone else hiding with him out!

Possible, but not easy. Wikia is notorious for locking down their system. They used to make it so you could just request an XML dump of the database and you could upload that into another Wiki, and viola! it all works (except images/videos); but they've stopped offering the XML dumps a long, long time ago.
