I doubt they'll show it if true, but can anyone who was in Denver confirm/deny this rumor? "this year a famous competitor stood atop the WW with a visibly wet spot from touching the water and was not DQed." I have no idea what/who you might be talking about, but the entire course was wet so it could have been from any obstacle and not just the DQ water.

Yeah with the snow I'm sure it was hard to keep things dry. I was just curious since the person who said it ran in Denver. Who knows, maybe they failed and were just a little jealous.

I heard about this problem and the way it was told to me sounded legit. I don't remember the name of the guy they let clear, though.
