What is the lumberjack climb? I must be missing something... Obstacle replacing the rope wall. There hasn't been a photo of it yet. It was just mentioned as an obstacle in the article Ube found.

I didn't even notice the picture because of how small and colorless it was which is surprising considering I'm me. I only knew it based on description so honestly not sure which thing is which in that pic (there's one that looks narrow and one that looks wide and I'm not sure which one the obstacle is and which one is just supports)

I have no idea what you're supposed to do on it.

I have no idea what you're supposed to do on it. Imagine someone on the Spider Flip about to make the reverse flip. Instead of jumping to the other side, you stay on the initial plank and climb up. Your hands are wrapped around the sides, and your feet trek up along the middle. The 6th obstacle is the rope swing across to get there.

It's hard to see anything in that picture, but isn't that wall way too wide to wrap your hands around? Or is that a crash mat of sorts?

Seems too wide to do that... unless that ISN'T the board

I was referring to the long and skinny wall closest to the left, not the black and wider one near the right. That one might be a crash mat following the rope swing, and then you transfer over to the skinnier one to left. The "Lumberjack Climb" is based on an actual activity in real life. Lumberjacks used to climb trees using the same method, except they had a rope tied around the tree. You can find videos of this on youtube. I think there are competitions in the South that include this Lol.

I just noticed that board... that may be right but I wonder how you transfer to that board if you hit the crash mat because it seems the skinny board is more forward than the mat...

This makes much more sense on how the Tarzan Rope works with it, The idea of Tazan Rope into Lumberjack Climb felt dangerous
