Midoriyama has been confirmed as well, Las Vegas, NV, June 10-17, 2014.
Apparently the location has yet to be confirmed but I feel it's safe to assume they're staying in the usual spot

Las Vegas course is MOUNT Midoriyama And don't assume. Both Vegas courses were not in the same location from year to year.

Force of habit. And actually yes they were, if they weren't in the same place then vegas has some pretty redundant landmarks with the same names.

Well if it's not the exact same spot, it must be right next to it because they found a damn near identical one lol

I was thrown off by this. I apologize for not assuming they might actually move this year. I'll stay out of the thread from now on. Hmm. That's not the same lot. Close, but the lot last year is behind the sign. Maybe its a staging area.

Figured it'll be same for the Southwest. I wonder what's going to be the location for Midwest and Southeast. I'm really shooting for going this year, but with my location being almost equidistant for either Miami (Southeast the past couple of times) or in central Texas (again, past couple of times), it'll be interesting to see and hear that when I do get the vid set, where they want to place me.

I'm really hoping they return to Baltimore for the northeast regional. Not sure how likely it is after the whole rain postponing a whole day of filming thing...

Far as I'm concerned, they might as well do Chicago for Midwest, because it's not like Winter ends in the Midwest because Spring becomes "official." Not to mention the downpours in this region as well. Should just do the biggest city. Probably waiting out for the Midwest in April, to have a better chance of decent temps.

When I chatted with them and asked them they said somewhere after the 14th of this month. jeez man really leaving us on a limb ... prepare to go... on short notice (boss will love this)... to an undisclosed location! In this location you may need to get a hotel or have friends to crash with... but a tent for a week and forming a posse to enforce "THE LIST" might be your path to total victory as well! You will never know! Im still on the fence on applying, no matter where they hold it. I decided if I can go to pk and give the CH a shot and if I feel strong I will have to apply.

In my view, at least for this year, the only people that's screwed are the ones going to the Northwest and Southwest regions. It all depends on which one will be first (I don't know they do both a week a part or the same day). I believe last year the Southwest (North and South) were giving a week in a half notice of the date as well as who was in and who was not? While the other regions had like 3 to almost 7 weeks.
The one thing I notice that's good (from last year Southwest) that most people that did a walk-on came the night before or at 3 or 4 in the morning and got in to do the course. And according to some of the repeats who's been coming every year, the year before last (ANW4) they were taking walk-ins by the tons. People were arriving mid day and got in to give it a go.
The bad (last year), the fact they kept taking walk-ins and seriously overbooking. They got a lot people hopes up who came in, sign the contract just to shoot them down and kicked them out at 5:45 AM.

You are correct we were given about a 1 1/2 week notice last year.
