Anyone else think new obstacles look easy? Slider jump IMO is much easier than the flying chute. Still cool, just easier.

I think that the Slider Jump thingy may be a little easier, but the Circle Jump thingy is more difficult than the Pole Maze. So, all in all, the level of difficulty is likely about the same as before- perhaps slightly harder because there are 2 new obstacles that the competitors have never seen or tried out before.

It's called the Circle Hammer, not Circle Hanger.

It's called the Circle Hammer, not Circle Hanger. サークルハンマー Sounded kind of like Circle Hanger, But thanks for clearing that up. I've been trying to figure it out since they said it.

I'm surprised noone has mentioned this, but they only showed new obstacles for stage 1. That means if the obstacles have not changed in stages 2 and 3, someone or some people have made it to the final stage by clearing the Salmon Ladder, Cliff hanger and the "Gliding Ring." Wow! If a new competitor has come in and got to the final stage, that should go down as the greatest Sasuke performance in its history.

Yeah, for sure, it'd be like Jovtchev in 8, except like ten times harder. But them not showing new obstacles in the later stages doesn't preclude the existence of new obstacles, though it might be more unlikely.

First Stage: 1: Sextuple Steps 2: Circle Hammer 3: Log Grip 4: Jumping Spider 5: Half-Pipe Attack 6: Warped Wall 7: Slider Jump 8: Rope Ladder Seems about right. It will interesting to see what the time limit is. That will be a bigger factor than the actual obstacles methinks...

The Slider Jump reminds me of that obstacle from Viking where they had to hold onto a huge ball thing, slide down a track, and then land on a net below them without getting strangled by it. But I think the SJ's net was more vertical than that obstacle, so it should be ok.

You mean the castaway? That was exactly what came to mind for me too.
Although it turns out I have already trained perfectly for the Circle Hammer before we had a good guess of what it was. I was trying to do Metal Spin practice but the spinner was angled and I didn't get an actual jump every time but I did end up training for it. If it is the same, it's easier than it looks, although the rope will spin around (and I had a shorter rope than they did so think about that).
Slider Jump it turns out I was training kind of wrong, I didn't have any drops and was reaching out to the bar (lack of net) and not jumping to it. If theres still rope there I'll definitely try doing it like that.

I was just wondering now that the Circle Hammer has been comfirmed to be very similar to the metal spin does that mean that the metal spin is gone from stage 2 ? I cant imagine that they would have two very similar obsticles even if they are in two diffrent stages.
